The symptoms you stated do not sound like head gasket or head cover gasket leaking. Since you can drive for a while before fluid (assume it's coolant as you said) leaking and there is no blue smoke from tail pipe, quite possibly it's just a leakage in coolant hose or hose connectors. When car is cool at beginning the coolant circulating is not pressurized so no significant leak and no smoke. Once the engine is warmed up then pressurized coolant was spilled onto hot engine and made smoke (smells sweet).
Check and replace all hose/gaskets in the cooling line first. Will cost ~$ 100 + half day DIY. Good luck.
3KS for your professional advice. The technician showed me the leak point in the engine gasket; besides, the engine is already over heat now, they said the intake gasket is melted... Change a new engine or just throw it to junk yard, two choices... any way, thanks so much.

2003 Camry， 112k mile里程。
前几天开车的时候发现engine bay底部冒烟，冷车的时候没有，大概开了10分钟就出现了，烟挺大挺吓人的。熄火后后发现地上一滩水，应该是coolant。。。如图
开到修车店，修车店要收200的labor拆一些东西做检车，折腾了两天说是engine
gasket的问题，维修报价1800加税。。。
如果只是慢漏，可能我就凑活凑活，关键是开一段就冒烟，实在不好处理。。。
机油是前段时间自己换的mobile 1 highmileage，不知道能否直接加stop之类的sealer啥的。。。
预期明年5月份毕业，这个时间点好尴尬，修或者不休，换不换车都好纠结，求各位大
神支招。。。

你说的head gasket的全称是不是叫valve cover gasket? 假如是的话，你说的症状跟
head gasket完全没关系。它就是一个rubber 垫圈。它坏了的症状，就是engine内部压力大（猛踩油门加速）的时候，机油会从valve cover那里漏出来。你就会看见那里有
很多油泥。
上，才冒得烟。
不然这么个鸡肋，不想学修车的话还是卖给别的修车达人去修好了。

2000多点了，要1800也太坑人了
买个工具拆盖, $20买个gasket,一会就搞定了. 何必用$2000.
是冒着烟的。修这个都只要不到1K，没修，觉得车都不值1k.
你这个会不会是coolant漏了，部分留在引擎上了，热了之后就冒烟
如果没有问题，就在去一个车行确诊有没有外漏，在哪里？不然只有换缸垫了，或卖了。不要去琢磨，螺拴拧紧没有，你看不出来的，而且必须卸开HEAD cover.要不修卖的
话，不要隐瞒，因为买这个车的人多办是学生或经济条件暂时不好的。

update：没有修的必要了，要么换引擎，要么lease吧，按那些tech的话说，引擎已经
overheat，intake gasket都融化了。。。那样确实没有修的必要了~~~

那个Kit里不光有HeadGasket,还有INtake Manifold gasket, exhaust Manifold
gasket.
GAsket blown了不是JUnk车的理由。换GAsket 肯定是最经济的。不过没有时间没有精
力那就算了。
，修了这个那个问题会出来，当然他是老板，他说你要修我也没办法。。。

先把thermostatic拆了看看压力小一些会不会堵住漏，你说的K seal是最后的方法了。。。死马当活马医，不行了直接 junk yard...
学生哪有这时间折腾破车，店里修head gasket人工都得打10小时起，还有啥可考虑的
