我不认为魏京生是她的"legal father"。他没有法律责任来支付她的大学学费.
劉女士的前夫是她的"legal father"。她是美国公民,根据美国法律，

从道德上讲，她可以责备魏京生.
从法律上讲，她可以责怪前夫。不承担法律责任 as a legal father.
