冒昧问一下本版大牛教授们。 我不太想发deadline的邮件说 i will submit by xx date，因为这个人的特点就是 control freek，他挂名的文章（无论几个作者）都要他从头到尾审一遍（也就是当 reviewer那种）。他审稿也是这么细致的，所以 设置deadline 投稿对他这种要重新审核的来说 肯定等于逼他。
我现在有两个方案，请各位faculty评价一下。 方案一：我直接问他 是不是对 这三篇不感兴趣，如果schedule not available or not interested, you can refuse to collaborate on these three papers. 他当初帮我scope的这三篇文章结构。这么说太狠了，但是 已经拖延一年半 了。。
方案二：当舔狗，继续说有没有什么difficulty， i will see what i can do.. 这样已经说了几次了，每次都是asap哎
还有这样的,没见过(我就在欧洲). 我一般都是说, Dear xxx, Hereby I send you the most recent draft of the xx manuscript. The paper is in pretty good shape. Please feel to give any further suggestions or comments. I would like to submit it by end of next week (or xx date). If I don't hear from you by then, I will take it that you are in agreement with the draft and happy to be a coauthor.

Thanks for your draft. It is a nice work but I think we need reconsider the assumption I and the data of experiment II are still not that supportive. I will consider it and try to fix them before our submission.

但是他确实帮助了不少，不知道为什么这三篇这么拖延。
如果他再拖延 真得来硬的了。哎 作为科研无名狗的无奈

找个客观理由 比较我要毕业 要交tenure package 要申请grant 老婆要生小孩了 etc 然后说为了赶这些deadline 必须xxx之前投掉 这样对方如果再不搞就知道会产生实际
伤害 如果还是不搞 那自己搞人家也更好能理解 （这样的人以后也不用合作了）
欧洲是经常有这个节奏。
欧洲的博士生毕业论文交给老板经常一年多不给看，然后因为没有看也不同意答辩，然后学生工作好几年了再回来答辩。

原则上如果人家够牛，就忍，对你有好处。牛人确实忙，人家找到时间能静下来好好想想你的东西不
容易的，很多时候出一两个主意就可以make difference. 以前我每次都被折磨的要死
要活，后来觉得基本都值得耐心等，可能是我运气不错，没有跟太多伪牛合作。
如果coauthor多，可以群发邮件，造成peer pressure，一群人等他一个一般人都会抓
紧。除非你的习惯是跟每个coauthor单线联系。
