某校说了要给offer，结果谈之前和谈的过程中一直给我感觉他们在拖，我手上也没有
其他的offer，也没法硬催。现在也很晚了，很想定下来，而且如果最后没拿到，也想
及早准备其他选择。
想请板上各位大佬帮忙分析一下给点建议接下来该如何操作。。
整个过程如下：
2月底 -- campus visit，面试自我感觉其实挺一般的
3/24 -- 联系search committee chair问结果，被告知被recommended了，下一步得由
department chair和dean来操作；同时scc告知我他们chair在travel，4/4之前不会有
任何消息。。。
4/6 -- 没任何消息，于是再次联系search committee chair，他说他在travel，4/12
才能回来，回来会帮我check什么状态；我之所以一直和scc联系是因为之前他们chair
的email告诉我和scc保持联系。。。
4/13 -- 没任何消息，于是再次联系scc，当时感觉应该已经凉了，scc回复说已经回来了，会去帮我check一下
4/16 -- chair通知我说要跟我谈potential offer，当时觉得峰回路转，柳暗花明又一村；email约在4/18谈
4/18 -- 第一次谈offer，chair说了个很低的starting salary（我们专业10%
percentile的salary），一个标准的startup package；听完我说想考虑一下再回复，
同时chair表示salary是negotiable的
4/19 -- 调查了很多情况后，给chair发email约时间再谈，结果chair等到4/21才回复
，并且email约到了4/25再打电话谈
4/25 -- 第二次谈offer，我说了一个我们专业median的starting salary，startup
package加了15%买设备，其他没变；chair让我发email写个summary给他并且justify我的要求，这样他好去跟dean谈
4/26 -- 按要求发了email，chair表示收到了会尽快回复
5/1 -- 没任何消息，再次发email催chair，chair说学期末很难见到dean，表示会尽快回复我。。。
最后黄了 -- 更新在7楼
department chair,他说得去要钱。也还没回复我呢说实话，不到最后纸质offer 下来
都担心，希望我们都能最后顺利拿到offer 吧！

如果是dean亲自联系的offer，也接受了是不是就没什么问题了，也是还没有收到

一般找full的opening不可能跟ap重合

条件什么都是Dean直接来吧，Chair弄错Dean意图的几率很低，应该像大家分析的，大
头改主意，Chair只好找个借口让你Move on。
这种事情最终确定之前都说不上的，谈条件的时候出问题很常见，别太放在心上，重新考虑之后的计划吧。而且这个学校的发Offer的时间有点太晚了吧，这个时候一般该拿
到的早就拿到了，Chair应该是笃定你现在还没有其他Offer在手上，开的价很低，这种情况下你argue条件应该是合理的，前面有个建议别还价直接答应的别当回事，学术界
里呆着，很容易就一直带在一个地方一辈子了，这样之后每年涨工资都是基于你初始的工资水平，开始太低的话后面和同事的工资差距会很大，好好谈一下是有必要的，要是学校给不了合适的条件，其实Move on挺好，下次未尝拿不到好的Offer，总比委曲求全若干年后后悔好些。
