1. go to the range. unless u have some guidance, do not discharge a weapon anywhere out side a range, even if it is wild wild west unless ur life depends on it.
2. what goggle r u wearing. I dont think there r many sealed shooting glasses. r u wearing paint ball goggles? swim goggles?
3. there may be some safety preventing the release of the striker/ firing pin when slide not in battery. so pulling the trigger does not release the striker. not sure.
say u have a round that is out of spec and the but stuck out of the chamber yet the chamber face is on the base even though the slide is out of battery. if it released the striker and happened to fire the round against all odds, the exposed casing not backed up by the chamber face may burst which may be a catastrophic failure.
even if it does not burst, the ejector may not have grabbed the base of the casing when not in battery, so you get a double feed right after firing.
racking in this case causes a double feed too. double feed is one of the nastier malfunctions.
4. if ur ears ring after, u need better ear pro. learn how to properly apply foam plugs. check the seal of ear muffs. legs of eye glasses prevent good sealing. u may need frames with thinner legs.
I was worried about the double feed when misfire happened, that's why I did not rack the slide. I am using a single action semiautomatic pistol, so pulling the trigger will not cock the striker. The striker worked fine after pushing the slide back into battery, which indicated that the striker was NOT released the first time I pulled the trigger (i.e., when misfire happened). That's what puzzled me. Maybe when the slide is not in battery, pulling the trigger does not do anything. Mushy trigger maybe? But how the trigger resets itself without the racking of the slide puzzled me as well. I think the trigger gets reset when slide moved rearward, but maybe I am wrong.
Shooting in the range is boring, you shoot by yourself, nobody to chat with, and the target is not moving. Maybe I should find a range with moving target or something like that. Or maybe I just go get a hunting license so that I can shoot in a WMA. In that case maybe I should buy a shotgun, LOL! Can the 9mm kill dear?

My guess is that trigger is disconnected when slide is not in battery. Especially if it is a single action.
When slide not in battery and there s a round in the chamber. Either the breach face is not in contact with the shell case base. Or the end of the shell case is not surrounded by the chamber. Either way is dangerous if the round went off.
Btw. Do not pull the trigger if ur goggle is fogged to the extend u can not See a good sight picture. if u had to fight for ur life when ur vision is compromised so be it. But in a range safety first.
Do not skimp on equipment. Buy proper equipment.
Do not I repeat do not fire ur weapon in the wild unless ur life is in danger. Only discharge at designated locations for sports or recreation!!!

特意挑了个周二下午去，就是希望那里没人。我去的那个range一共有6条lane，我去的时候里面有一对黑珍珠在打，后来我开始打那对黑珍珠就离开了，我觉得时间挑的很对。我觉得如果旁边的那条lane如果有人也在打，真的很危险。有可能那个人比谁都菜鸟，子弹打到什么地方ricochet到你身上。后来那对黑珍珠离开了(我觉得她们也是新手

耳朵打的时候带着earmufff，只听到嘣嘣嘣的声音，其它没有感觉。回家以后现在反而觉得耳朵有点感觉。那个眼镜我觉得要买一个防雾气的，我这次戴的眼镜没过一会儿就fog up了，看目标都很模糊。所以我打的50发子弹中前5发是最准的，后45发都打歪了。
新枪真的要小心，可能还没有break in。我打的第5发子弹就misfire了。当时把我紧张的。幸好一看是slide回去差一点点，用手把slide push了一下，再打就没问题了，后
来的45发也都没出现问题。但是我现在有个疑问，我一直觉得扣动扳机让撞针出来应该也是有一个弹簧的，我开始还以为rack the slide有两个功能，一是装子弹退子弹壳，二是把撞针的弹簧给绷紧。现在看来好像撞针的敲击跟racking slide没有关系，因为
我第1次misfire了，我没有重新rack，而只是把slide向前推了一点点，就可以继续
fire了。请高手们解释一下哈。
现在我反而觉得去range打没什么意思呀，只是为了练枪法的准确性吗?我还不如开车到山上找个没人的地方来练习，还不要花range的钱。而且最重要的是防止range里面旁边的人是菜鸟，不小心打到你身上。因为不可能每次去range，你都包场呀。
找到一个youtube video，其中的那个“fail to go back to battery"跟我今天碰到的情况一摸一样
处理方法也一样，就是push the slide, 看来这情况很常见。
但是还是不理解这种情况下没有把slide稍微往后拉，为什么trigger会reset。看这个

这枪的可靠性太差了吧，新枪也不能成为misfire的理由吧。报一下牌子，让大家避免
啊。找没人的地方练枪？不是自己的私人领地能行吗？自家院子和邻居太近，肯定不行啊。
不一定是谁怕谁。
起雾是眼镜是气密的原因。
没有必要是气密的那种。平常如果戴眼镜，平常的就行。
如果枪擦过，应该是手腕软的典型症状。多打打，小臂/手腕紧张些就好了。

感觉是烂枪，P226, Glock 都没有听说过新枪有这样的事情。一般打上千发都不会有卡。
卡也是子弹不对，不是枪不对。
如果找没人的地方打枪，是可能犯法的。就算是自己的地方，也要查看当地法律。
很多地方是不许可的。在AZ你在任何地方乱放枪，包括走火，被抓到都是终身禁枪。
range 应该是最安全的地方了。里面有人教最基本的要求，什么枪口不对人之类。
违反是会被赶出去的。
荒野反而危险，对面如果也有个和你同样想法的人，没看到你，在朝你的方向练枪。
我想这也是有的地方禁止乱放枪的原因。
打枪去range，越规矩越好。枪是凶器，必须慎重对待，不是玩具。

My guess is that trigger is disconnected when slide is not in battery.
Especially if it is a single action.
When slide not in battery and there s a round in the chamber. Either the
