“Darling, by chance I’m passing by Old Navy. It appears that they have a host of new arrivals. Do you mind if I drop in for a brief spell?”
他亦正下班开车于途上,用温温的喉音,回我道,“Baby, go for it. Live it up. I love you.”(宝贝,尽管去是了。
La rue était déserte.(法语:乌云蒙着了月光,街面一片阒寥。)
I acquiesce. It’s so picayunish, I’ll make a wish.”(“服了你了。 我低头盯着手板心里头那片已经化得很可怜的小雪花片儿,开始嘀咕我的小心愿了,“Hmmm, I wish that your approaching business excursion to France will be a smashing success and when I return to China I will experience such a rapturous Spring Festival ,that all my joyous revelry will cause me not to desire a return to my domicile. And further, I will not depart for America until I gorge on so much savory Chinese food that I end up with a pot belly.

White jade magnolias, in the next to last vase
Are in a trance
Concealing my face with my hands, I stood
In a throng of blood red prickly roses
At my feet, a forlorn suitcase of books
Enwrapped in a white shroud
August’s wheat waves across the plains
Burning
Swaying like flying birds
Two or three stalks
Disintegrated
Sitting upon the rocking chair, slumbering,
With my hands clutching the weaved bamboo armrests
A murder of crows, creep along my bare back
Pitter patter of rain
Drift to sleep again, in the Pitter patter of rain
You use the scorching torrid hands
Caressing my spellbound cheeks
By my lips, I sense
your breath, is fresh
I wrapped the residuum of our lives
In soft pink tissue paper
Suspending it from the tenebrous cold taillight
Pink? You uttered
Lowering my eyes, staying hushed
_ white
A bit too cold

On
the cheaply white-washed walls of the little room, an anatomical color
poster of the foot and ankle was affixed . Some of the usual medical
apparatuses, two wooden stools, a low wooden cabinet and a counter with a
faucet and sink installed filled out the rest of the room.
The
door had been propped wide open so she caught sight of a young male
doctor attired in a white smock walk briskly down the hallway outside of
the room. She wondered whether he would be her doctor.
Grasping
a grayish and black radiograph in his left hand, the doctor made his
entrance, breaking her reverie into smithereens. Bidding her welcome, he
stretched forth his right empty hand to her, smiling, Hello, I’m Dr.
Zhang.
She reciprocated by extending her fair right hand out
to his. She noticed on his right wrist he wore a wide-strapped silver
Swatch watch, and couldn’t help laughing secretly in her heart. She and

they are very niggardly with their time while consulting with patients,
secretly peeping at their watch just like lecturers who carefully
follow a speech that they’ve timed to the minutes and seconds.
When
her hand was held within his wide and dry palm, she felt as secure and
warm as lying in a giant conch shell bobbing up and down buoyed of blue
waves.
He sat down on the wooden stool beside her opened his
light yellow folder, and began browsing over it. She noticed his fair
skin and the thin gold-framed eyeglasses on his face.
Raising
his eyes, serenely, with a look as immaculate as a sheet of pristine
white paper, he gazed at her and said, “ I have carefully examined the
x-ray of your left ankle and the good news is, I don’t detect any
evidence of fracture.”
At the sound of those words, the
pressing anxiety that had been weighing on her heart flapped two grey
wings and flew off. How wonderful it would be , she thought, if right at
that moment a man would offer his neck to her, certainly she would hang
on it as long as she wished and bounce up and down ten times.
The
thought continued in her mind how he, with his pacific demeanor, would
look down on her behavior as frivolous, so using all her will power she
tried freezing the corners or her mouth, coercing them not to curl up
into a thin crescent. While engaged in this in

“Darling, by chance I’m passing by Old Navy. It appears that they have a
host of new arrivals. Do you mind if I drop in for a brief spell?”
他亦正下班开车于途上,用温温的喉音,回我道,“Baby, go for it. Live it up. I love you.”(宝贝,尽管去是了。
