丑闻也就在中国人中流传着吧
从昨晚的200页高楼看到现在，也算是最近追的唯一一个8卦了，来做点贡献，给后来的MM做个总结吧，力求公平中立。（俺以前看8卦从来赶不上热闹，每次都云里雾里的）
事情要从一封分手信说起，一伤心MM看到了老公写给自己的分手信，大意是跟同实验室的师姐日久生情，出差的时候就水到渠成地睡到了一张床上（师姐主动的），此MM老公在分手信中感慨：男人不出轨，是因为诱惑不够大。信里的细节引导大家开展了轰轰烈烈的人肉活动，虽说俺是混过天涯的人，也被华人MM们的热情所感染，跟着去参观了师姐的玉照，看了几遍对那句“男人不出轨，是因为诱惑不够大”表示理解不能……分手信乃华人首发，热心同学可以去MITBBS围观原件：

由于群众的力量大，很快师姐和负心老公的照片被挖了出来，同时拔出萝卜带出泥，在一张负心老公的实验室合照中，一位清秀的中国女AP引起了大家的注意，被冠以“美女教授”的称号久久传颂。而这，刺激到了华人ID为qiufengliang的MM，她宣称“美女教授”红杏出墙，跟她的老公有不正当的男女关系，同时爆出女AP喜欢写英文信，PHD毕业后拿的是婚姻绿卡。
万丈高楼平地起！短短几小时内，贴子被顶成像水楼一样的高楼。一时间真假难辨，关于女AP的学术背景倒是被挖个底儿掉。
随即，贴子以迅雷不急掩耳盗铃之势如破竹被转到了MITBBS，被顶到十大。正在大家猜真假的时候，ID为yellowcat，自称为事件中美女AP的人发了回复：

但是没有确认大牛就是老公啊。大牛手下在做不同的课题，赶上这个美眉乖巧讨喜，就分给她个得力的方向。自己的学生，发文章时肯定是会照顾的。很多老板都希望自己的学生做发考题，就是为了继承衣钵，开枝散叶，都是力挺的。

其实我几乎有机会看到这个女faculty..一年多前她还在阿肯色做ap的时候。想要换学校做faculty把申请资料发到我们学校ＥＥ系。我们大大诧异她取得的成就，因为我们都在学术起圈子混，知道每年拿nsf funding尤其是还是重叠的项目。几乎是不可能的。

不是怀疑你啊，就是问个问题。如果她真的有大牛撑腰，为什么大牛要给她做的这么“过”，大牛肯定也明白她只要有一两个就够牛了，物极必反。 看大家这么讲，似乎人家的能力的确超牛，不过奇怪的就是这么牛的人为啥不去计算机犇校？

可能就是project manager吧。一两年前的事情了当时就是走过眼看的信，没有仔细记住具体头衔。不过资料什么的都还在。但是去找就没有必要了。
不过可能这个ap就是很能干的也说不定。。

她肯定是能干得 但是也肯定有贵人相助就是了~

也打个酱油，真到了牛校的地步，top5啥的，其实funding反倒不是最最重要的，还是要看成果，我说的不是这种infocom的成果，infocom论文一般学校的也都一把把的吧，虽说录取率不高，但毕竟每年两百多篇。。。稍微差不多的都分得到羹。这位教授的方向最好的会议应该是sigcomm，mobicom这种。大牛学校录取标准是得有非常重要的突破，或者开创了前沿的领域的成果才行。当然做到那个地步拿funding也应该不成问题了。

恩。我在一个panel 里面review过，和这个ap 不同方向，一般是很严审查的。尤其是nsf funding一般是给年轻faculty１个两个救水火，但是这给法非常罕见。。她当时还将要是一个conference的committee chair。那也是非常了不起的成就。我们这种faculty想也不敢想。可能还是道行太差
