After you bring your IPs to AWS, AWS will advertise your public IP addresses on the Internet. You will continue to have access to Amazon IP addresses and can choose to use your own IP addresses, Amazon’s IP addresses, or both with your AWS resources. Your applications might use trusted IP addresses that are whitelisted by your partners and customers. With Bring Your Own IP, you can move these applications to AWS without requiring your partners and customers to change their IP address whitelists. 我自己就是 web developer, 我看华人网用的asp.net，每个用户的ip其实都在 session 的 client ip里，是可以显示的。
但是，因为网站并不知道，这个ip address是否link to person, 一旦有一个link to person, 那么被罚的话，是一个人5万刀。 什么是可能link to person的ip address呢， 比如你在自家house有自己的small business, 申请了一个unique business ip address，这个ip address 是可以link to personal information的。

有的客户，会提供一种特定的vpn, 比如 cisco any sync connect的，基本上时时打开的。

因为，各种类型的企业，一般是在节假日，升级IT相关的系统。
我可以公开我的IP， 至于华人网公开不公开，不关我的事，我既不支持，也不反对，华人网怎么弄我都不会有意见。我只是说明你的观点不可取，意义不大，只会伤害99%的普通美国用户权利。
