I could buy another $5000 at SAKS but could not get another $1000 EGC.
I already got one gift card for $10000. The SAKS sales manager said one customer just could have one gift card. If the store that i am in could have the bags, it might be possible to get another EGC. But the one that has the bag that i am looking for could not issue me another EGC.
I spent the whole morning to argue this with them. But......Sorry MM!!!!
SA told me there would be another GC event in coming Feb 2010. Hopefully at that I could get what you want!
