Decades ago the only baby bottles available to parents were made of glass. But glass was heavy and, more importantly, breakable. Plastic baby bottles are lightweight, strong, and unbreakable. However, concerns have arisen about the polycarbonate type of plastic bottles because they contain a chemical called bisphenol A (BPA). Bisphenol A is also used in everything from compact discs to the lining of cans, as well as other consumer products. A 2007 report by the organization Environment California showed that when heated, five popular brands of BPA-containing plastic baby bottles leached high levels of bisphenol A. In studies of lab rats, low levels of BPA were linked to changes in the brain and reproductive system that researchers say may contribute to an increased risk of prostate and breast cancers, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and early puberty. Before you panic, know that government health officials don't believe that the amount of BPA in baby bottles and other consumer products is dangerous. After reviewing research on the plastic, the FDA stated that based on its ongoing review it believes the amounts of bisphenol A that find their way into food and drinks are too low to cause any real health effects in humans. However, the agency is continuing to look into the question of BPA safety, and for now, the issue remains unresolved. Choosing a Baby Bottle There are essentially three types of baby bottles: plastic, plastic with disposable liners, and glass. Although the jury is still out on bisphenol A, if you want to avoid any bottles that contain it, look for the #7 recycling symbol or "PC" on the bottom. That's usually a sign that the bottle contains BPA. However, not all plastics labeled with #7 recycling code contain BPA. Some bottle brands, such as Born Free, explicitly say that their products are not made of Bisphenol A. Many retailers, including Wal-Mart, plan to stop stocking bottles containing BPA, which will make it easier to weed them out. Stores such as Whole Foods have already pulled them from shelves. There has even been a move to enact legislation banning the use of bisphenol A in baby bottles and other food containers.
From this paper, I think glass is still better for store milk than plastic.
Storing and transporting breast milk
Mother's milk is precious to both you and your baby. It represents commitment on your part and ideal nourishment for your baby. Handle your milk with care. The same immune properties in your milk that protect your baby also help protect the milk from bacteria growth while it sits on the refrigerator shelf. What kind of container should I use to store my milk? The options include hard or soft containers, with several choices under each category. Each has advantages and drawbacks. Soft containers are plastic bags. Hard containers are made of plastic or glass. What kind to use comes down to two issues: protecting the milk and all its valuable components your convenience and that of the baby's caregivers. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of research about how storage containers affect human milk. One study showed that the leukocytes in milk (the live cells that transfer immunity from you to your baby) sticks to the side of glass containers, but subsequent research showed greater numbers of leukocytes in glass containers than in plastic, as the cells were released from the sides of the containers over time. Research has also shown a loss of antibodies and fat in milk that is stored in plastic bags, but this information applies only to disposable plastic nurser bags, the thin ones you can buy at most stores to use with baby bottles. If you do choose to store your milk in these, use two bags to protect against breakage and "freezer burn." Use twist ties to close the bags.
Plastic bags specially designed for freezing expressed human milk are available from many companies that specialize in products for breastfeeding mothers and babies. These bags are sturdier than those used in baby bottles and have self-closures that are easier to seal and label. They do a better job of protecting milk components than nurser bags. Some types can be attached directly to your pump. Plastic storage bags are available from the LLLI Catalog
The information currently available suggests that glass or hard-sided plastic containers (the kind of plastic that is clear, not cloudy) provide the best protection for nutrients and immunities. Hard containers should have secure, one-piece tops. If your baby is getting a lot of his nourishment directly at the breast, you don't need to be as concerned about nutrient loss through freezing and contact with storage containers as you do if your baby is getting only expressed milk and not nursing directly at the breast. 我上次剖的，这次肯定剖，so....
我第一次见OB就被抽了8管血，然后过了俩月保险公司来了封信说因为我没有referral，所以不能帮我付这个账单，这8管血做的检查耗资8600刀。。。。。。我跟家猪接到这封信都快疯了，从来没听说过怀孕还要referral的！
找保险公司和医院扯了N次皮，医院负责保险事务的人也说她工作11年了从没见过这样的事儿。。。她会帮我们争取。。。
反正现在都半年了这8000多刀的账单也还没来，搞不好已经消化掉了，我跟家猪决定听天由命，账单不来最好，来了我们再研究战略战术。。。唉
不是每次都能买到莲藕的嘛～～～

我觉得应该是通过了。不一定要吃很多甜的，淀粉类食物吃多了血糖也会高。
我的一小时是147，还好三小时顺利通过了。不过做三小时血糖真是痛苦啊，尤其是第一小时，这辈子也没喝过那么甜的东西，觉得随时都可能吐出来，还晕晕的。

我的理解，多普勒就是普通的腹超， 拿个小 doppler 在肚子上抹啊抹的，我每次都会做， 就是看看宝宝的长度，听听心跳， 2分钟。。 彩超就是3D 的B超吧， 我大B超时做过， 也是多普勒的腹超， 量宝宝的各个器官的数据。

我自己没催过，但看到一些产经：
overdue太久大多会催产，帮助发动。
好像有时候，羊水破了，还没有宫缩，也会打催产素。
还有一些其他原因，孕期糖尿病高血压什么的，也可能打催产素让宝宝早点出来。
还有啊，昨天去医院复诊，因为我时不时有spotting，医生担心胎儿发育有问题，给我预约了两周后的growth scan，是彩超+多普勒。有人做过这个吗？主要看什么呀？
我之前做过一次彩超，好像就是三维立体，量量宝宝器官的大小和重量吧。mm不要太担心，一定会顺利的

Decades ago the only baby bottles available to parents were made of glass. But glass was heavy and, more importantly, breakable. So when plastic bottles came along that were lighter and shatter-proof, the glass bottle became almost obsolete.

Which is safer, glass or plastic? Here is some background on baby bottles plus some tips on how to choose -- and use -- bottles safely and effectively.
Baby Bottle Worries
The problem with glass bottles is pretty obvious -- drop one on the floor in the middle of a late-night feeding, and you'll have a roomful of shattered glass to clean up. Glass is also heavy and cumbersome. On the upside, glass bottles are sturdy, and they don't contain any chemicals that could potentially get into the baby's formula.
Plastic baby bottles are lightweight, strong, and unbreakable. However, concerns have arisen about the polycarbonate type of plastic bottles because they contain a chemical called bisphenol A (BPA). Bisphenol A is also used in everything from compact discs to the lining of cans, as well as other consumer products. A 2007 report by the organization Environment California showed that when heated, five popular brands of BPA-containing plastic baby bottles leached high levels of bisphenol A.
In studies of lab rats, low levels of BPA were linked to changes in the brain and reproductive system that researchers say may contribute to an increased risk of prostate and breast cancers, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and early puberty.
Before you panic, know that government health officials don't believe that the amount of BPA in baby bottles and other consumer products is dangerous. After reviewing research on the plastic, the FDA stated that based on its ongoing review it believes the amounts of bisphenol A that find their way into food and drinks are too low to cause any real health effects in humans. However, the agency is continuing to look into the question of BPA safety, and for now, the issue remains unresolved.
Choosing a Baby Bottle
There are essentially three types of baby bottles: plastic, plastic with disposable liners, and glass.
Although the jury is still out on bisphenol A, if you want to avoid any bottles that contain it, look for the #7 recycling symbol or "PC" on the bottom. That's usually a sign that the bottle contains BPA. However, not all plastics labeled with #7 recycling code contain BPA. Some bottle brands, such as Born Free, explicitly say that their products are not made of Bisphenol A.
Many retailers, including Wal-Mart, plan to stop stocking bottles containing BPA, which will make it easier to weed them out. Stores such as Whole Foods have already pulled them from shelves. There has even been a move to enact legislation banning the use of bisphenol A in baby bottles and other food containers.

我自己没催过，但看到一些产经：
overdue太久大多会催产，帮助发动。
好像有时候，羊水破了，还没有宫缩，也会打催产素。
还有一些其他原因，孕期糖尿病高血压什么的，也可能打催产素让宝宝早点出来。

催产本身应该没什么危险，特别是对宝宝应该没什么副作用。可能的副作用是有的人觉得加了催产素之后宫缩更疼。
如果催出来，宝宝情况不好，可能有其它什么complication，或者本来呆在妈妈肚子里的时候就有complication，所以才催的。
当然，催了半天还生不出来，该刨没及时刨，那对宝宝不好。不过，就算不催，也要注意这方面。

Storing and transporting breast milk
Mother's milk is precious to both you and your baby. It represents commitment on your part and ideal nourishment for your baby. Handle your milk with care. The same immune properties in your milk that protect your baby also help protect the milk from bacteria growth while it sits on the refrigerator shelf.
What kind of container should I use to store my milk?
The options include hard or soft containers, with several choices under each category. Each has advantages and drawbacks.
Soft containers are plastic bags.
Hard containers are made of plastic or glass.
What kind to use comes down to two issues:
protecting the milk and all its valuable components
your convenience and that of the baby's caregivers.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of research about how storage containers affect human milk. One study showed that the leukocytes in milk (the live cells that transfer immunity from you to your baby) sticks to the side of glass containers, but subsequent research showed greater numbers of leukocytes in glass containers than in plastic, as the cells were released from the sides of the containers over time. Research has also shown a loss of antibodies and fat in milk that is stored in plastic bags, but this information applies only to disposable plastic nurser bags, the thin ones you can buy at most stores to use with baby bottles. If you do choose to store your milk in these, use two bags to protect against breakage and "freezer burn." Use twist ties to close the bags.
Plastic bags specially designed for freezing expressed human milk are available from many companies that specialize in products for breastfeeding mothers and babies. These bags are sturdier than those used in baby bottles and have self-closures that are easier to seal and label. They do a better job of protecting milk components than nurser bags. The information currently available suggests that glass or hard-sided plastic containers (the kind of plastic that is clear, not cloudy) provide the best protection for nutrients and immunities. Hard containers should have secure, one-piece tops. If your baby is getting a lot of his nourishment directly at the breast, you don't need to be as concerned about nutrient loss through freezing and contact with storage containers as you do if your baby is getting only expressed milk and not nursing directly at the breast.

我曾经给桔子用这个avent的奶瓶来着，不过不是很喜欢，奶嘴比较硬，很容易就顺着嘴角流奶出来，渍到两侧的脸，导致红嘴角。
后来换成泵奶器带动奶瓶+gerber的扁奶嘴就完全没有这个问题了。
所以我不打算再买这种奶瓶了。
请问为啥要这样买呢， born free的奶瓶配mam奶嘴。 还有买5oz三个size 1会不会太多。是不是应该买9oz 三个，再自己配size 1的奶嘴

我感觉价钱还不错，不过要考虑一下奶瓶奶嘴问题哦。
