Overseas China Education Foundation (OCEF) was founded in 1992 by a group of students in America; it is registered as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. OCEF is non-governmental, non-religious, and non-partisan; our sole mission is to afford basic education to ecconomically disadvantaged children in rural China. Since its inception, OCEF has sponsored more than 26,000 Grade 1-9 students and over 2,000 high school students. Last year alone, the foundation has helped 5,977 children to attend primary and secondary schools and 1089 children to attend high schools. We have also supplemented the income of 196 teachers and built 4 schools, 26 libraries in poor rural areas.
OCEF is run in entirety by volunteers; no one in the organization receives a single penny in compensation. The operating expense for last year accounts for just 4% of the donations. Due to the global economic recession, donations in the first half of 2009 fell by 58% compared to the same period last year; many projects could be adversely impacted. We especially do not want to see sponsored children dropping out of school. $50 a year or just 13.7 cents per day can keep a child in school. With your support, we hope to change the lives of even more children.
We are participating in the America's Giving Challenge. It is a 30-day national campaign to encourage participation in charitable causes. 是的，我们的两家机构同心协力，互助携手，尽我们所有人、义工、捐款人最大的力量，争取到facebook的奖励，用来帮助国内的孩子们教育、治病！！！
同学们，斗争白热化了。。。
我平时不怎们喜欢拉人捐款的。刚刚给我认识的公司里的中国人发了募捐信了。他们有些人知道一些教会和其他华人组织，可以广为传播。我觉得只要知道的人多了，我们的力量还是不可小觑的。

最新的形势是印度机构TPRF每天以五百以上的速度冲刺，而且后劲还在后面，这是一家大型的挂着“国际”牌的慈善机构。
给它家捐款的
老美第一天不知道捐款方式都是100刀、200刀的捐款，现在知道捐款方式以后，TPRF以火箭的速度往上冲，据说去年facebook的同样比赛，最后
一天有慈善机构日增长票数为一千票至二千票。而本次比赛中，OCEF和OSCFF加起来的两方投票最高一天也只有八百票（其实至少有一半票是一人同投两家
机构），而且我国国内facebook和causes被屏蔽，国内的同胞根本无法上来支援。与此同时，印度举国上下为TPRF投票，OCEF现在形势严
峻，从人数上来说，我们在海外的华人不能和整个印度人口、老美相比，靠最后一天的冲刺恐怕我们能投票的人数远远不及。
照现在TPRF的速度看来，很快它将威胁到OCEF的第一位置，从10月17日开始，OCEF得到了广大海外华的4,000次的投票，我们一定要努力保持住我们的位置，不让前面大家辛辛苦苦的4000张票次浪费、化为乌有！！

是这样的：
一人N张信用卡同一个名字同一个地址：捐一家机构N次，只能算一次。
一个可以同一个名字同一个地址的信用卡同时捐两家机构，分别各算一次。
gift card最好不要用，因为有一家机构ride 2 recovery可能就用这种形式作弊的，主办法前天给所有的member发信，说会在比赛后查票的。
所以我们不要这样做，我们要赢得堂堂正正、漂漂亮亮！

我前几天特意留心看了，我先用自己的卡投，看了票数，然后让老公用他的卡投，票数增长了。中间没有别人投。所以是算两票的呀！我们是一个IP。

绝不放弃，想想我们前面投入了多少精力时间金钱。
这次OCEF要尽最大的努力拿到第一，为我们华人自己的慈善机构扬眉吐气。
OCEF现在以一敌二，强大的印度食品组织TPRF，有作弊嫌疑的挂名老兵组织R2R。
OCEF的背后是所有华人的支持，虽然国内同胞眼睁睁的看着无法参与，但是相信在海外华人的力量，一定能支持OCEF到最后的。

今天试验了，目前为止还是算二个的。
每天只要先发动OCEF，OSCCF的盘就会被OCEF带起来。今天 OSCCF到了五百票以上，前几天只是死保OSCCF的时候，OSCCF的最高票都没有冲破500的。
所以我们接下来还是要每天先拉OCEF，让OCEF的士气高涨，下午的时候就很轻松的拉上OSCCF。
谢谢，因为每天下午东部时间三点以前是最紧张的时候，所以总是更新标题让大家看到最新动态，一楼一改，颜色就又没了。
版版跟着改颜色就会太辛苦了。如果置顶了，大家又习惯性的不去看。

每天三点结束以后，先投OCEF的票，让OCEF士气高涨，鼓励OCEF的基本票都加入进来。
然后第二天中午以后，开始拉OSCCF，这样投了OCEF的票的人看见OCEF冲锋再前，也就乐意再去投OSCCF的票。
否则如果是前几天的情形，只保OSCCF的时候，OSCCF总是被tprf 和r2r压着，ocef也在下面，本来可投可不投的人一看就没兴趣了，索性两家都不投了。
这样的话，我们两娃每个娃一天要少至少两百张以上的票。

可是osccf还是有点弱
别怕，MM，我们要争取的是OCEF投票者手里的那一张OSCCF的票。
理智的来分析，热爱OCEF的投票者（这个是捐款人的自由，没有任何人可以左右的，义工也无法劝说捐款人怎么投票的），如果看到当天OCEF被压在第四或第五或者更低，热爱OCEF的投票者就会直接关了causes的页面闪人。
假如OCEF每天下午三点以后就领先冲前，让热爱OCEF的投票者感觉有希望，他或她就会先投了OCEF，然后下午的时候受到OCEF冲前的鼓舞就会有兴趣再去投OSCCF的票。
所以要争取那些有能力能投两家机构票的捐款人。
每天下午三点以后，能做OCEF基本票的票就先垫OCEF的底，以吸引后面更多的投票，并且为拉OSCCF做好基础。
只有OCEF一马当先，远远的把tprf和r2r甩在后面，才可以号召得动投票人另外那一张票投给OSCCF。
否则的话，有相当一部分票看见OCEF不行了，也就不搭理OSCCF了。两家娃同时损失这部分人的票。

嗯，用的不同信用卡，不同名字，billing address相同，但是我还在facebook account里，结果还是显示是我捐的，后来logout后，通过那个不用facebook的连接捐，再捐就是老公的名字了

真的呀？这可不好啦。
按地址算太没道理，不认识的人还可以合租房子呢。
不过这里的“地址”指什么？billing address 还是IP？
好像不是哦，算名字的(facebook 用户名和信用卡用户名都不能相同）。所以“不同人捐款"的定义是：地址可以相同（好多老外couple报税都分开，所以地址相同一定是没问题的），但是信用卡的名字和连接的facebook账户，2个都要不同的才可以。我的错误经验总结。。说错了请一定给我指出来哦

3. couples use two credit card seperatly donate once a day, but both card belongs to couples(means has both names on it) with same address, count as 1 vote since they all based on one address, not name or cards

根据竞赛规则，从每日下午3点（东部时间）开始新的一个计数天。
每天的捐款次数第一名，奖金$1,000 第二名，$500
整个活动期间最后捐款次数为第一名，奖金 $50,000 ;第二名，奖金 $25,000 ;第三至第七名，奖金$10,000（述说如有错误，请指出）
因为比的是竞款次数，而不是金额，所以大家可以保存实力，以十刀为一次捐款金额，分天多次捐款，一个人（或一个机构）在指定的时间捐一次和二次都算一次，一个人（或一个机构）可以一天内向两家参赛活动的机构捐款，算两家两次。所以我们可以同时向ocef和osccf一天内各捐十刀。
