My PhD is on eye movement disorders and I have seen lots of children and babies with strabismus (squint eye). Strabismus is actually quite common, and the surgery is also quite simple. Don't worry about it - the surgery will be done in no time.
If you have a good surgeon, having the surgery done early in life is wise, because it gives your baby a better chance of developing a good visual system. One thing you do need to know, is that strabismus might come back later in life. Some people need multiple surgeries because the yoking of the two eyes is somehow disrupted.
我发现我家宝宝现在4个月大也有些斗鸡眼，看了医生说正常，要我观察等等看再说，不知道楼主宝宝现在多大了？

我小时候就有strabismus（一岁多），很厉害。那是还没有手术。不过幸亏我舅舅是眼科医生，所以用小眼镜纠正的（还去眼镜厂定做的），带了十几年才彻底恢复的，现在一点也看不出来。不过对眼睛来说，总会有些损伤，自从我远视眼镜拿下了后，不多久有变近视了，所以命中注定要和眼镜过一辈子
原理是：控制眼球的有上下左右四根肌肉，叫眼外肌，任何一根痉挛，就会造成眼睛斜视的。
尽早手术是积极的方法。可怜这么小的宝宝就要挨刀子，patpat。
开刀完，当心宝宝的小手，不要让他（她）碰到眼睛的部位。
