GXGX. I was very happy when I found out I would have a second child and they would be 28 mos apart... only by the time closer to the due date, I start to realize that would be a lot of work to take care of 2 kids, financially, mentally and physically.
Now my daughter will turn 5 mos soon and I am happy to say .... I rather to be like this then having my second child later. I heard so many stories about the elder children get jealous, difficulty to take care of the second one when the first one has to go for extraccurricular activities. Besides, I think I still have energy right now... can't imagine how it would be in a few more years. My second one is "min" effort for us. As long as her brother is around, she can sit on her bouncer for a long time, and being entertained by her brother. Besides, since her brother goes to daycare, our life is very regular, and we don't even have to sleep train for her. Good luck. Believe me it is a good thing to have their age not separate for too long.
