以Toyota 为例,其他品牌也都差不多。上官网,找到search inventory, 选好车型,然后设好自己的zip code, 距离范围,搜结果就行了。结果里面一般有 show pending, show in transit, 这两项去掉,剩下的就是现车了。看看哪家dealer有什么车,多少钱,看好了直接去店里试车就行了。
没有现车可以show in transit, 一般车的信息都可以看到,还能看到大概什么时候能到店里。想订就可以直接去店里找他们预定。如果没人预定,那么板车拉到店里的时候就是现车了。预定的车就在 show pending 里面显示了。以我有限的经验来看,pending 的很少,大部分都是in transit 和现车,直接自己从头预定配置的不太确定。
买现车要经常刷网页,dealer 那里不是每天都有车的, 不同的dealer 情况也不一样,会有多少车来可以从in transit了解个大概。 看到有想买的车来了不要犹豫,马上去。不放心去之前可以打个电话确定一下你想看的车还在。
不同dealer价格也不一样,有的就msrp卖, 有的会多加一些东西,这个完全看dealer, dealer 之间也会竞争的,有时候远一点的dealer可能加的钱就少。当然现车你可以去和销售谈,但是基本价格还是由行情决定。
以我年初买车为例,前一天晚上网页上看到车,第二天早上9点多到店里试驾,试完不到中午就买了,办手续的时候销售还说有人打电话过来问这台车。下午网页上就撤了,用销售的话说,从下板车到开走,不到24小时。
一般抢手的车都是1-2天就卖了,稍微贵点的可能能呆3-4天, 这种情况就别想讲价了,唯一有可能的就是某个销售为了个人业绩,可能能给你一点让步,但是空间不大。抢手的车你不买后面的人也会买,他们没理由降价,唯一的区别就是下个买家可能就不是这个销售的业绩了。
如果现车很多的话,而且长时间卖不出去,可以去要折扣。经常刷刷inventory的网页就能大概了解行情了。急着买车就把距离范围设的大一点。
刷inventory还有一个好处,就是可以看哪里有车可以去试驾。

现在两个车都可以讲价,这个福特最后从MSRP减了五千。Honda至少可以减两三千,只不过因为不喜欢就没浪费时间了。
我23年买车的时候还不能讲价,因为刚需,直接按MSRP买的。

我也想给大学刚毕业的孩子买车,福特的探索者比本田的更安全吧?车子好开吗?会不会经常要修?我们家两辆本田的,一辆accord,一辆奥德赛,十多年了都没怎么修。孩子学车就是用accord的,在家也习惯开accord了,不知道该买哪个好。
我家也是日系,这些年一直是本田,丰田,斯巴鲁。以前也喜欢美国车,但是的确因为对质量有担心,所以最后都买了日系车。但是孩子马上要工作了,很可能经常会跑高速啊,长途啊。那结实就更重要了。同样大小的日系车一般都比美国车轻。这的确让我更不放心。而且这次试车,感觉美国车的传统优势还是挺明显的,如果真的爱坏,那就修吧,或者再换辆新的,德系车不就是出名的维护花钱吗。几年就换最划算。我们想开了,准备也采取这个思路,大不了几年换车,怎么也比奔驰宝马换的容易吧。😄
其实我们开始也考虑买福特的150皮卡来着。后来其他家人都不同意,所以选的探索者。你要买美国车,中SUV还可以考虑通用的Tahoe, 也是重装的中SUV,看着很威风的,我只是对福特更喜欢些。
这车开回家,连喜欢跑车的老二都直夸好看。感觉男孩可能会很自然的喜欢美国车的。

所以现在要跟dealer往死里讲价。 讲价前做的功课: 去reddit该车model的子版块查otd 或者invoice价格, 然后quote几家, costco的auto program可以试一下。
