In 2023, GE Appliances, a subsidiary of Haier, announced a $490 million investment to relocate some washing machine production from China to its Appliance Park facility in Louisville, Kentucky. This move is expected to create 800 new jobs and aligns with the company's "zero-distance" strategy, aiming to manufacture appliances closer to customers. The production shift, including combo washer/dryers and front-load washers, is slated to begin in 2027.

还是有用的。比如仓库，运输，还有原材料需要的相关产业的就业，服务产业。即使5%回流，GE自己就1万人新就业，更别提相关的其他的，如餐饮，房子，教育产业的就业，更要增加许多。想想美国TOP100 甚至TOP1000企业全都这样做的结果？
制造业转移到海外，服务业外包，导致美国制造业好多关键环节断链，直接影响国家根基，国家安全，导致美国许多行业凋零，是美国国力衰败的开始。
如果产业，服务业，外包真的不能成功回流美国，美国未来50年内必然全方位衰败，丢掉全球霸权。因为美国本身国家大，人多，种族混杂，什么认识水平的人都有，国力再衰落到欧洲这样的国家位置，甚至可能大规模民乱，内战。大家早做思想准备吧。。
