?
Q Yes, in Matthew 8:20, Jesus states, "The foxes have dens and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." This phrase, while not explicitly stating he slept without a pillow, highlights his itinerant and unattached lifestyle, where he didn''''t own property or have a fixed place to live. He was focused on his ministry and the needs of others, often sleeping outdoors or in the homes of his disciples.

UQ
Q Jesuism, sometimes referred to as Jesusism or Jesuanism, is a belief system that emphasizes a direct and personal relationship with Jesus, focusing on His teachings and life as the ultimate guide. It differentiates itself from mainstream Christianity by prioritizing the core teachings of Jesus, particularly His words and actions as recorded in the Gospels, and often emphasizes a more direct and personal relationship with Jesus.
In essence, Jesuism is a belief system and a way of life that centers around a direct and personal relationship with Jesus, emphasizing His teachings and example as the ultimate guide to living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
UQ
Q Here''''''''''''''''s a more detailed look at the core tenets of Jesuism:
Key Aspects of Jesuism:
Focus on Jesus''''''''''''''''s Teachings: Jesuism emphasizes the teachings and life of Jesus as found in the Gospels, viewing them as the ultimate source of truth and guidance.

Direct Relationship with Jesus: A core tenet of Jesuism is the belief in a personal and direct relationship with Jesus, where individuals seek guidance and inspiration from Him.

Living Like Jesus: Jesuism encourages followers to live their lives in a manner that reflects Jesus''''''''''''''''s values, actions, and teachings, often emphasizing compassion, love, and humility.

Scriptural Foundation: While primarily grounded in the Gospels, Jesuism may also draw from other scriptures, but with a primary focus on Jesus''''''''''''''''s words and actions.

Emphasis on the Holy Spirit: Some forms of Jesuism emphasize the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding and transforming individuals, leading them into a closer relationship with Jesus.

Contrast with Mainstream Christianity: While sharing some common ground with Christianity, Jesuism often contrasts itself from mainstream Christian traditions by emphasizing a more direct and personal relationship with Jesus, and by focusing on His teachings as found in the Gospels.

Jesuism and the Way of Life: Jesuism is often seen as a way of life, encouraging followers to live with compassion, love, and humility, similar to how Jesus lived. It emphasizes the importance of personal reflection and application of Jesus''''''''''''''''s teachings to daily life.

Q Matthew 5:45 states that God provides sustenance and protection, regardless of whether someone is good or evil, just or unjust. This is demonstrated by God making the sun rise and rain fall on everyone. The verse is often interpreted as an example of God''s love and mercy, extending to all people, not just those who are righteous.
Key points: Divine Provision: God provides for everyone, regardless of their moral standing. Universal Love: God''s love and care are not limited to the righteous but extend to all people. Example of God''s Character: This verse is often cited as an example of God''s mercy and the boundless nature of His love.

UQ
Q In that agrarian society, good weather was all-important. There are righteous farmers (who would be considered God’s friends) and unrighteous farmers (those who would be considered God’s enemies). Regardless of the farmer’s disposition toward God, God gives sunshine and rain to all the farmers in equal portion. When God gives good sunshine and good rain to an evil farmer, it’s an example of God loving His enemies. God makes no distinction between the evil and the righteous in this instance—He gives good gifts to both of them. UQ

(Jesus-likeness)!

<Jesus-likeness> vs <Christ-likeness>

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” Praise the Lord and May God bless you🙏🙏🙏

Q While it''''s difficult to definitively say Stoicism was the "most popular" in its era, it was certainly a prominent and influential philosophical system in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. It enjoyed significant popularity among the educated elite in the Hellenistic world and the Roman Empire, with many of Alexander the Great''''s successors even professing themselves as Stoics.

Life A bearded Justin Martyr presenting an open book to a Roman emperor. Engraving by Jacques Callot.
Justin Martyr was born c. AD 90–100,[9][10] into a Greek family,[10][11] at Flavia Neapolis (today Nablus) near the ancient biblical city of Shechem, in Samaria.[12] He knew little or no Hebrew and Aramaic, and had only a passing acquaintance with Judaism.[10] He was uncircumcised, and defined himself as a Gentile.[13] His grandfather, Bacchius, had a Greek name, while his father, Priscus, bore a Latin name,[14] which has led to speculations that his ancestors may have settled in Neapolis soon after its establishment or that they were descended from a Roman "diplomatic" community that had been sent there.[15] UQ

?

Q https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Martyr ...
In the opening of the Dialogue,[16] Justin describes his early education, stating that his initial studies left him unsatisfied due to their failure to provide a belief system that would afford theological and metaphysical inspiration to their young pupil. He says he tried first the school of a Stoic philosopher, who was unable to explain God''''s being to him. He then attended a Peripatetic philosopher but was put off because the philosopher was too eager for his fee. Then he went to hear a Pythagorean philosopher who demanded that he first learn music, astronomy, and geometry, which he did not wish to do. Subsequently, he adopted Platonism after encountering a Platonist thinker who had recently settled in his city.[16][a] ...
Engelhardt has attempted to extend this line of treatment to Justin''''s entire theology, and to show that his conceptions of God, of free will and righteousness, of redemption, grace, and merit prove the influence of the cultivated Greek pagan world of the 2nd century, dominated by the Platonic and Stoic philosophy. But he admits that Justin is a Christian in his unquestioning adherence to the Church and its faith, his unqualified recognition of the Old Testament, and his faith in Christ as the Son of God the Creator, made manifest in the flesh, crucified, and risen, through which belief he succeeds in getting away from the dualism of both pagan and Gnostic philosophy. ...
Justin, like others, thought that the Greek philosophers had derived, if not borrowed, the most essential elements of truth found in their teaching from the Old Testament. But at the same time he adopted the Stoic doctrine of the "seminal word," and so philosophy was to him an operation of the Word—in fact, through his identification of the Word with Christ, it was brought into immediate connection with him.
