mindbody medicine 感觉类似于内科医生+心理医生结合体，需要对病人生活和背景比较了解，从医学角度全方位评估调理，挺make sense的。可惜现在多数医生都走量，看的病人越多钱越多，就算是家庭医生也不会愿意去了解病人

很多这种医生现在不收保险只收现金也不愁没人来，因为无数病人在传统医疗系统得不到有效的帮助，而且收现金基本screen out社会经济地位低的病人，that is the reality, the people who need help the most don't get shit in the US. 或者打出名气之后写书搞subscription, 像Dr. Paul那样的基本绝迹了
直读好厉害👍 我倒是不需要负债，目前工作存的差不多能cover 4 年医学院学费生活费房贷什么的，就是读完了剩的就不多了。我可能是属于喜欢折腾的

我们都已经没有机会再选了，只是告诉孩子，一定要做自己喜欢的工作，做几十年都不讨厌的工作。
大厂里各种bureaucracy让人窒息
读完做住院医收入也很低, 你ok吗? 做专科的住院医好像更久
住院医一年收入六万，生活倒是够了，毕竟我没有学生贷款，不过目前的房贷相对这个工资太高，估计会换小房子或者租房吧 直到做完专科医生培训🤔
traveling nurse也不错，多了解试试反正不亏 同意生命在于折腾
我最近有look into nursing 这一行 我觉得we might have over romanticized 这一行
你可以看看traveling nurse的薪水 50一小时的话 36小时一周就是啊1800 这样即使一年都在工作 也到不了100k 。说100k和500k收入区别不大的人。。一个household一年就要100k 收入如果不到100k的话还要交税 会入不敷出 连savings都没有
而且是一个非常physically intensive job 很多nurse都有injury 干了十几年之后就干不了bedside。我看过一个nurse说自己在20几岁的时候是跑ultra marathon的 但是工作十几年之后也浑身是病 浑身疼。因为对身体条件的严格要求 所以这一行有ageism。首先，你得有劲。有那个身体条件。
而且 这份工作并不glamour ous 工作和人体分泌物排泄物血液大量打交道。而且病人很多时候会刁难你。他们可能不刁难医生 但是对护士可能非常刁难以及不尊重。这些都是非常实际的问题。即使再想帮助人 可能大部分人连每天伺候自己瘫痪的父母都做不到吧 真的能充满爱心的给不认识的人擦屁股？

part time可能不行，学医非常消耗体能，时间，我有个学医小孩，没看到有打工，都是家里全面支持.
嗯嗯刚才查了一下，往常的AMCAS opens 是5月初，submit是5月底，一般一个月出成绩，所以最后一次考试是4月初 不过我估计考1月的，毕竟圣诞节正好PTO复习有时间搞mock exam
