don''t know about washington state but many states have a clause for medecaid receipients that when they pass, the state will claw back the medicaid cost from the estate/assets.

要看各州自己的规定，有的看有的不看，每个州可能不一样
华州好像是的，只看收入。但接受medicaid的医生可能不多。朋友家用过，她一直吃的药一分钱不花。她说她以前用公司保险，反而要自付10%。
出租房收入，股票，还有dividend收入都算的。而且刚失业一般都有cobra12个月，比白卡好用
在他们网站上没看到要求资产的条件，所以有点觉得too good to be true，也许交上去会再看是否符合要求。
现在没工作，那收入是按零算吧。有很少的银行利息，股票收入是负的。

COBRA查了，贵的要死，也不知道是否真比mediccare或market insurance plan好多少。

应该是可以的，最好不要收入为0。总是有些收入的，比如股票分红，利息，房租（如果有出租房的话）。

查了下华州失业金最多一个星期 $790，一个月就是 $3160。
奇怪的是medicare按一个成人算，四口之家收入不能超过 $3588（https://www.hca.wa.gov/free-or-low-cost-health-care/i-need-medical-dental-or-vision-care/individual-adults）
但要是按照顾小孩的父母来算，四口之家收入不能超过 $972 （https://www.hca.wa.gov/free-or-low-cost-health-care/i-need-medical-dental-or-vision-care/parents-and-caretakers）
不懂为啥照顾小孩的父母反倒对收入要求更严格，常理应该是更宽松才对。
cobra应该和你现在的保险一样或接近，缺点就是贵。以前是单位给你付一部分premium，cobra就是你自己付

Cobra 就是延期用你现在的保险，只不过以前公司帮你交的部分，现在要自己交，所以贵。
