financial independence and financial freedom

财富自由和财富独立是两个概念。While financial independence means having enough passive income to cover your living expenses and lifestyle without needing to work actively, financial freedom means having the ability to live the life you want without financial constraints and varies for each person.
说白了独立就是过自己日子不用看人脸色打工了。自由就是想怎么来怎么来。 一般要budget和算cash flow的都没自由。

随便给我哪个的一点边儿都行，我无所谓区别

那你得先定义什么叫“想怎么来就怎么来”
难道你财务自由了，你走在大街上看到一个异性（或同性）长得好看，就能随便把她/他抓过来强奸吗？
