一名中国籍妇女因为在我新加坡逾期逗留七年，被判坐牢六个月，罚款2000元。
案情显示，被告Kang Lihong的长期探访准证2016年4月到期后，移民局批准了为期62天的探访准证，给被告两个月的时间离开新加披。不过，被告不但没有离开新加披，还在这里逗留了七年多的时间。她在这个月1日被移民与关卡局逮捕。
被告在法庭上表示，自己会持续逗留在新加披，是因为儿子当时还在本地升学，若没有她的陪伴和资助，儿子可能无法继续升学。 不过，法庭最终决定在《移民法》下，判处被告最高刑罚监禁六个月，外加罚款2000元取代鞭刑。

一个弹丸之地不得了。 看看咱们这嘎达这么多非法移民，都不让叫非法移民要叫undocumented.

新加坡有陪读妈妈签证的（也可以给外婆/奶奶）。。。 她非法滞留肯定不是为了娃
