Colonoscopy Findings: - The perianal and digital rectal examinations were normal. Pertinent negatives include normal anal sphincter tone and no palpable rectal lesions. - Terminal ileum was normal. -One 5 mm polyp in rectum was removed using cold snare. One hemo-clip was placed for mild oozing. There was no bleeding at the end of the procedure. - The rest of colonic mucosa appeared normal. Random colon biopsies were performed. Plan: - Discharge patient home with an escort. - Resume previous diet today. -Biopsy:f/u results. 后面略 -Procedure: repeat colonoscopy with timing based on pathologic review of the resected polyps. 其他略。 上面是post-op instruction 肠镜这部分的部分内容。当时感觉医生很乐观的样子，说下一次可能是五年或十年，我觉得可能很成功，加上非常非常饿，就去吃了中餐芭菲，还吃了一些辣的东西。回家后因为还有些头晕就基本在床上睡觉躺着了，晚饭吃了一点米饭，芹菜和排骨汤。今天早晨上厕所，肠道里很多很多气，排气的时候有一小摊血出来（最后才发现）大便很少，擦的时候有一些暗红色血，不是很多，擦两三次就没有了。 请问这个预后会有哪些可能？我该注意些什么？今天医生那边会打电话follow up,想在这里先问问，不知道有没有类似经历的朋友。谢谢！
早上给医生打了电话，后来那边打电话回复说bleeding is to be expected, if bleeding persists再打电话。 在discharge folder 里，关于 bleeding 说的是， if biopsy or polypectomy was performed you may have bleeding. Minor bleeding maybe noticeable, but should resolve by the end of the day. Contact doctor if you are having severe bleeding. 再观察下吧。。。 我当时也是有些大意，不够仔细，把那两页纸大概看了一下有几项内容，看到 You CAN eat once discharged. 这句话被黄笔highlighted 就想着可以好好吃一顿了，没细看后面的小字。instruction 确实有提到first meal 最好是light meal, suggest avoiding greasy fried or spicy foods. 当时实在是饿的不行了，主要是医生给我的印象感觉很顺利，没什么问题的样子，我当时还问护士是不是明天就可以上班了，护士说可以。教训教训，要把每个字都读到。

你这种有息肉的可能3年就要复检。我有个同事20几岁起每年都要，因为有家族史。我朋友什么都没有，说10年后再查。
