有个学生，随着妈妈的绿卡过来的。目前绿卡还没有下来，因为疫情一直在拖。但是都有工卡， 这个工卡和h1b 的工卡一样嘛？ H1B和雇主直接挂钩，换雇主还要transfer. 那绿卡的那种工卡也有这个限制吗？ 我看他的卡后面也写着“ can not be used as work authorization proof” 给学生介绍了一个高中毕业后的apprentice program,学生需要有工卡才可以。谢谢！

看了下我的combo卡背后没写这句，相反写了“The person identified is authorized to work in the U.S. for the validity of this card” 你确定卡是employment authorization (EAD) 或者combo (下面会写serves as I-512 advance parole)?
