我觉得Citi泄露的可能性不大。网上有人分析是奸商本身勾结骇客以某种手段盗取了大量信用卡信息,然后通过这种貌似合法的“订单”从中谋取非法利益。
IP地址是商家提供的。在类似的纠纷中,商家会给信用卡公司提供极为详尽的订单记录,比我们平时看到的Order confirmation多出很多的信息。信用卡公司就是凭借这些信息做出不利于我的初步resolution的。信用卡公司把这份详尽的order record发给了我,让我做出回复。

我的情况是货还真的发给我了。网上抱怨的都是我这样的,莫名其妙收到几瓶像是dietary supplement的东西,然后就被charge几百美刀。
比我们所说的“强买强卖”还无耻,强卖好歹还打个照面呢。
比如你在A商家使用信用卡,你的信用卡信息被A商家的内鬼卖给了这家公司。除了有口碑的大商家比如amazon,我会存信用卡信息,其他地方都不存。如果在不知名的商家网购,我要么用paypal,要么用一张prepaid card,被hack也没什么损失,扔了换一张。

很可能是他们每个月都重新输入你的信息charge你。这样的话信用卡公司也没办法,所以取消旧卡是正确的。
赞这个。在小的商家别说储存信息了,就是使用信用卡风险也很大,尤其是需要经过人手的。所以我现在网上购物,只用信得过的商家。另外坚决不储存任何信息。在convenience store买drink一类的小额购物,恢复使用现金。
citi bank最烂了,被盗刷好几次了,我已经关闭了。

不管你选存还是不存,实际上商家是存了你的信用卡信息的。只不过如果你选不存,下一次交易还是要再输一遍信用卡信息
