像baltimore, chicago一些医院，非常擅于治枪伤，但谁想离这种医院住的近？
美国异地求医确实不多见，主要是时间成本和金钱成本太高，普通人负担不起。绝大部分的人都是就近去差一些的医院。
我知道有几个住NJ的例子， 离纽约很近了吧？癌症，一开始想去全美国排名第一第二的纽约的Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center。 后来没去，去了离家近的差了好几个档次的local 医院。因为家人接送不方便，请人/出租车又太贵，家里又有孩子， 请保姆看着也太贵....
