如果没有人受伤，这种程度的car body damage打911警察也不会来，我车被HIT AND RUN了打911，让我自己去警局报案（人没事，车还能开）后来就给了个POLICE REPORT让我可以CLAIM 自己的保险。我的车最后claim total （因为有个管撞破了漏了一地的fulid, 修的报价是1万3.）加上我同事的例子，都是有事实根据的，不像有的人GOOGLE一下就信口开河。
好像不同州的处理方式还不同？ 我觉得可以报警问一下有没可能过来给个report，但也确实看到很多地方说parking lot上的事故警察不会来处理。 Hit and Run这种情况下，找不到肇事者的话可以用自己车险的UMPD赔付，理论上讲保险公司会出面寻找肇事者，然后向肇事者追讨修车费用，但也有可能太麻烦保险公司也就放弃追讨了。 Hit and Run的情况下，你自己是没有责任的，通常来说应该不会影响到你后续的保费，不过也建议check一下你的保单。

他说的没有错，你可以报警，但是警察一般不会来停车场，他会叫你自己联系保险公司，就算不是你的错，自己也要付deductible。
同意这个，现实情况就是：还是报警吧，好歹有个记录。不过都不一定会有report，很大可能还是需要自己的comprehensive来修车。
贡献一个dp，我曾经在state highway被hit and run，当场报警 警察说不管 说找insurance。后来insurance说要有police report，又再次报警，local 警察说在state highway要找state trooper，打了state trooper 报警电话被再次告知这仅仅是insurance 问题，不给出police report。
不知道我是不是被警察区别对待了，还是我们州法律不同。祝福lz能够找回公道。
