我乍觉得这个并不是一个好的sign, 如果入取的是这三个学校， P是普林斯 y是耶鲁 m是mit。 plus 娃每天吐槽 "I hate school"

后悔进来了

非灾区的强STEM公高。NMSF大约10%。年级头部10%的高中毕业生AP以上的课程都是15+。理工男娃12年级选了三门文科AP，作业太花时间，还得了个B，上学上糊了。好在高中总算快完事了，但面临大学选择的问题。T5里录了MPY。
如果去M的话，感觉就是高中加强版啊。估计大学生活除了上课，作pset就是吃饭睡觉了。优点是计算机专业排名好，学生宿舍分配容易满意。但伙食好像比较差。CPW转了一圈感觉基本都是灾区娃，竞争意识深入骨髓都不会放松了。我娃跟刺刀娃们一比，妥妥的🐏娃啊。被娃"I hate school"搞怕了。
如果去Y家应该能学得比较轻松。Y的音乐氛围好像不错。娃弹过钢琴，拉过小提琴，吹过低音号不过都是初级水平，也不知道能不能跟着混。当然课不忙的话，也可以去混其他clubs。Y的伙食据说很好。缺点就是CS排名有点低啊。有娃在Y读Math/CS的家长说说体会吗？矿厂和大厂会来招intern吗？
P家好像介于M和Y之间。课不轻松但不允许拿双学位，所以好歹还有时间参加课外活动。P有好多sports club。娃网球打得马马虎虎。P今年的college preview搞得比较差，跟MY没法比。想带娃去踩踩点都没机会。
当初建议娃去上丝糕但娃不愿意。娃现在也承认了当初应该选丝糕。现在怕重复选高中的错误。有选择也是麻烦事啊。

按照这个民科评分，你娃必须哈佛。等等吧，能从WL捞上去。

挺糟糕，智力很高，但是并没有帮助孩子找到自己感兴趣的事。
基本上是上了名校也是白搭，家长有责任。
周围有例子，不是什么羡慕嫉妒之类。
父母若爱子，则为之计深远，这里很多大妈感觉上了好大学就是终点，其实是个不那么重要的起点罢了

建议去躺平学校，说真的，娃虽然进了不错学校，但明显不enjoy，恐怕已经是burnout, 或者burnout前端。继续这样下去，就是毕业混个工作，不会太努力的。
虽然说的楼主估计不想听，现在明显去个比较轻松就能拿分数的学校比较好，慢慢4年调整身体和身心，重新充电。

牛娃

早上一个羊妈贴。现在又来一个凡尔赛的 I hate school.
hate school 的娃不配上YPM. 楼主家的娃把录取让给爱上学的孩子吧。别浪费社会资源了。

华人上果然穷人很少。高中生的妈-我昨晚查了查私校和外州公校的学费，郁闷了一晚。进lz的帖子，我直接躺平了，打算成为娃去外州上学的绊脚石。
