最近湾区渣男事件影响深远,我看到有人问已故的妻子不工作很多年怎么进的Facebook,也看到一个悼念她的帖子说她是通过return to work program加入的Facebook。这是个专门给以前工作过,现在没有工作的妈妈们设计的重返职场的项目。我们组的RTW program正在招人,在这里推广一下,希望可以帮助到更多的华人妈妈重返职场。欢迎转发。
Applications are open for Meta's Return to Work Program, a 6 month immersive program designed for those who have left the workforce for 2 years or longer and are looking to re-enter. 男人可以的! 要相信男人的潜力,他们照顾孩子和家庭的能力绝对不输女人. 有些工作也可以请阿姨或钟点工, 相信fb 薪水支付这个也绰绰有余.

比申请全职,面试要求稍微低一些,主要看potential,六个月的program结束以后,如果各方面都不错,可以拿到full time offer。前几期进来的,有做得很好,一年半以后升职的,也有比较吃力,performance review拿meet most的。这个项目最适合以前在IT行业工作过,中间停了几年,用这个项目过渡一下,重返职场。Facebook确实比较卷,工作强度大。拿到full time offer进来以后,和其它人标准一样,需要努力工作,适合想拚career的姐妹。

这么多双职工都是怎么过的?华人大妈最大的一厢情愿就是把照顾家庭这件事情无限放大,然后再一厢情愿地认为男人应该无限感激。

西电+北邮通信毕业能实力不强?这两个学校的通信专业可是全国top中的top,比清华都强。她前夫的学历也不差,东南大学的ee也算得上国内顶级。如果要说西电通信和东南ee谁更强,还真难分出高下。 所以不管是逝者还是生者,judge他们学历专业工作都没有任何意义。他们在国内的时候就已经是通过选拔后的万里挑一了,进大厂不奇怪。一个人的私德,本就和智商,学习能力,工作能力没有联系。

职场的能力不是看时间的,虽然你没有gap也不能保证你工作每分每秒都在成长,能力就一定比在家呆过几年的强啊。 而且最后能被招进去的,都是在有gap的那个pool里最强的,竞争也很激烈

你也可以在家呆几年,再申请这个program呀?只有你符合条件都可以申请,这不是比race为基础的公平多了吗?

第一 这个职位并不多也面试不简单 第二 你没有gap是自己的选择 第三 什么叫绝对实力 没有政治正确 你可能压根就没这个机会留在这个国家更别说工作

这就跟我以前读书学校有phd to 发考题的program一样,连学校自己都说竞争太激烈其实也没啥普遍意义,更多的是hope。

这就是给你一个面试机会。否则全职很久的人简历都过不了hr。 面试难度并不小。 全职主妇和全职主妇不一样的,邓mm这种科班出身的学霸能进去并不代表其他人也能能进去

这个还真不清楚,美国其它州的需要relocate到湾区或者西雅图。如果你有工作许可(H1,绿卡,公民),可以搬到湾区或者西雅图,应该可以。

一定要gap两年以上,会看之前工作经历。能不能过主要看面试结果。

这种项目一直有,有女性方向的,还有military方向的,但我记得一般对你以前的专业之类的有要求,反正可以试试,但不要期望太大。我以前实习的时候见过,好像半年后转正。

双职工还不是女的挣钱养家,回家去操心孩子的事情还要做家务。蝈蝻老公只需要诈尸育儿就算又支持老婆职业又关心孩子的无敌好爸爸了。

人家实力也确实强?以前有gap的简历上不好看,现在给个机会。你在家待一年刷题再去面试,也是一样的,有什么不公平?

最近湾区渣男事件影响深远,我看到有人问已故的妻子不工作很多年怎么进的Facebook,也看到一个悼念她的帖子说她是通过return to work program加入的Facebook。这是个专门给以前工作过,现在没有工作的妈妈们设计的重返职场的项目。我们组的RTW program正在招人,在这里推广一下,希望可以帮助到更多的华人妈妈重返职场。欢迎转发。
Applications are open for Meta's Return to Work Program, a 6 month immersive program designed for those who have left the workforce for 2 years or longer and are looking to re-enter. 不公平,我们没有过一天gap的职场妈妈,要面进Facebook都不容易。应该凭绝对实力来选拔,这样根据身份选拔,跟AA有啥区别?

有啥不公平的,这个program听起来很少机会,人家表现非常好才能进,你没gap想进fb刷题找人内推面试呗,普通招聘机会更多。

这是大公司回馈社会,宣传自己企业文化的一种方式……就像各种奖学金还指定各种条件和人群呢。别人自己家的职位,爱怎么招人就怎么招人。我很乐意看到女性即使因为种种原因有过几年gap,依然有一个相对宽松友好的社会环境和就业机会。一直在职场的妈妈,自己上车了也对还在等待的人多一点善意。同是女人,不要又看不上家庭主妇,社会给了她们多一点机会和迈出这一步的勇气又嚷着说这不公平。😓
再者说,这也是不以出身论英雄嘛,前面也有筒子说了,这个职位本身就是很难中的,自身也要很有实力才行。这些妈妈各种原因有了gap,这个program就是给他们机会锻炼并且证明自己呀,要是最后留下了,说明实力得到认可。不见得就比没有一天gap的职场妈妈要弱哦。

这个program存粹就是做样子。 5年industry 经验,1-2年gap 直接面试就得了, 谁给你做intern ?

大部分组应该都比较忙,公司文化决定的,feedback driven, performance driven。如果只想拿个meet all的rating,能力也不差,可能每天认真工作八小时就可以了。想拿好的rating,exceed/greatly exceed,要额外多花很多时间工作,因为很多“比你聪明又比你努力”的。

这个职位基本每年一期,每期招四五个人。工作主要不是编程,是做性能分析,跟一般developer职位不一样,不好找到合适的,招人cycle比较长,这可能是为什么你经常看到它挂在网上

确实,既要软件性能分析,又要硬件性能分析,有点系统工程师的意思。就是不明白,这种职位本来就不大好找人吧,一般得有长期这方面经验的才可以,门槛比较高,放到gap program里岂不是更难找到人?
