Visited New Orleans on Feb this year, with my teen daughters. They seems like there, a foodie place. Summary: Food - is yummy, but Restaurant verified vaccine cards before you can sit down. Safety - we toured French quarter at day time, so it is safe. For night, we ate, then leave with Uber. We do see homeless people, as in other big city. Weather- it is nice, still warm, but not hot. Street Car- during day time, we use the street cars. We bought day pass($3) in app, very easy to use and cost efficient. Garden district- beautiful, feels southern

Yes, it is true when we visited there on Feb 2022.
