东亚人短跑水平还是有的，训练技术上来以后成绩提高很快。

苏炳添是2014年开始请美国教练的。 之前他的最好成绩是10.24，而且还更年轻，后来他说，跟美国教练 Randy 练习后觉得自己10多年白练了。
