Churchill Capital Corp IV (NYSE:CCIV) is down 33.33% in premarket trading to $38.44 after the company announced its $11.75B transaction with Lucid Motors (LUCIDM). The companies are holding an investor call at 10:30 AM to discuss the transaction and give investors more to latch on to. Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is off 5.68% to $674.15 after peeling off 8.55% yesterday. Shares of Tesla are now down 25% from their high mark of $900.40. Chinese automakers Li Auto (NASDAQ:LI) -6.03%, Nio (NYSE:NIO) -8.05% and XPeng (NYSE:XPEV) -6.97% are all lower in early trading. Also in EV world, Fisker (NYSE:FSR) is down 3.15% and Workhorse Group (NASDAQ:WKHS) is 6.96% lower. Lordstown Motors (NASDAQ:RIDE) is off 3.25% and Canoo (NASDAQ:GOEV) is showing a 9.28% premarket decline. Tesla led the EV sector lower yesterday as investors test drove value stocks.
