No need to worry right now. I got diagnosed brain cancer last January, had surgery, following with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. So far so good, even though I still have another round of chemo to go. Nowadays there are new drugs coming out every year. The longer you can live, the bigger chance you may have new drugs that can cure the cancer.
