The United States cannot dictate the outcomes in other countries, but we do have a responsibility to advance human rights and democratic principles on behalf of all people. We have an obligation to promote universal values and work toward a more peaceful and secure world. Joe and I also believe in the worth and value of every Palestinian and every Israeli and we will work to ensure that Palestinians and Israelis enjoy equal measures of freedom, security, prosperity and democracy. We are committed to a two-state solution, and we will oppose any unilateral steps that undermine that goal. We will also oppose annexation and settlement expansion. And we will take immediate steps to restore economic and humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people, address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, reopen the U.S. consulate in East Jerusalem and work to reopen the PLO mission in Washington. In Syria, Joe and I will once again stand with civil society and pro-democracy partners in Syria, and help advance a political settlement where the Syrian people have a voice. 之前我也因为质疑一个另外一个mm被删的帖子,不过是问了一句“刚刚那个帖子怎么没有了,华人网怎么这么乱删帖”,这个帖子发了1分钟就被华人封ID了半个月 -- 不过话说也算谢谢他们,那半个月工作效率特高,还拿了个promotion..
Anyway,华人之前一直非常右。奥巴马时期,是大家一起聚在这里抱怨中性厕所,打砸抢的天使,大开美墨边界的地方。之前mitbbs衰败,我还跟lg说我们华人大妈强大的很,大外宣根本不是对手。结果前几个月突然在几天只内被冲蓝。我一直怀疑华人真的跟mit一样被卖给大外宣了,但是觉得还是不要想得太坏。直到今天看到另外一个帖子里忘了换马甲的大外宣版主,也算彻底证实了自己的怀疑。

没医保的人去医院,医院不能拒收,所以tax payer现在难道不出钱?不光是pay tax,还要给自己再买保险,如果有全民医保,至少medical insurance不用自己买了吧?这个逻辑不至于不懂吧? 加税也是加高收入,即使你达到版上贫困线,按现在的说法(40万),也只有超过40万的部分多交,死不了,不用激动。

补税不代表你多交税了,有可能是预扣少了。算算你的effective tax rate.
