My kid is not in district wide GT. the concern is the commute if everything goes back to normal. it will be about 1 hour one way while the GT program is only 1 block away from my house. Do you know if their middle school and high school are good? or we have to apply for special high later on?

i checked. about 57% minorities( 22% black, 35% Hispanic). about 33% whites and less than 10% are Asian.
i guess she has to... nothing would be easy....

千万不要去. 纽约的公校gt是相当不错的. 在城里学的好的话，5年级可以去考Anderson。或者六年级考hunter或者八年级考stuy.。 通常gt班毕业的小孩, 2/3进specialized high不成问题。
