比如大学，医学院入学，public sector的职位，情况不好的时候甚至private sector的职位以及社会救济等等

大学入学高院早就明文判决不能有quota。你所说的资源分配在public sector和private sector，应该指的是overrepresentation和underrepresentation吧，也就是所谓的racial equity，但是华人在各种比例上的overrepresentation远远超过自身的人口比例，比如高科技行业就非常明显。这种人口统计就是为了下一步打击华人在做准备，为了真正实现黑人和拉丁裔在各个行业的比例跟他们的人口比例相符。
反细分组织提出的对策是不要勾选chinese，而是在other asian里面手写chinese，这样一方面没有隐瞒自己的身份，另一方面也表达了反对的意见。
这逻辑真是醉了。如果Chinese不填自己是chinese，华人在官方人口比例里不是更低，本来overrepresent的地方不就更加overreoverpresent了吗？举个极端的例子，现在chinese占人口比例1.5%，xx大学录取大约10%；采用不选chinese的方法，以后chinese占人口比例0.5%，xx大学录取5%就很overreoverpresent了吧。
要说打击华人，你选个other Asian，注明是chinese。。。你问问版上做IT的，把这么填的人跟Chinese correlate起来的难度在哪里？

我也觉得这个对策很不靠谱，哈哈，所以我填的就是asian。我就是解释一下这里面的逻辑，overrepresentation是必然的，这是华人移民本身重视教育决定的，跟你填什么没关系。这个chinese checkbox背后是racial equity。
各人自己做决定吧。
所有的都要添。resident吧
只要在美国的都需要填，F1, H1B, B2，L1, ... 包括undocumented的也需要填。要不加州哪来那么多人口？加州的公民绝对没那么多，但是加州鼓励undocumented也填，结果就是众议院议席加州最多，从联邦吃的福利最多。
希望大家多填，只要收到表格的，拜托大家都填，还可以把家庭成员多填一些，把探亲过来的爸妈都填上！
我们这里的老中议员说了，只要住你家里的活人统统填上。越多越好。
现在不填chinese的，以后娃就是反过来以非Chinese占受到削减的Chinese名额

您还是没明白race是self identify这个原则。黑白混血算黑还是白? 日韩混血算日还是韩? 中越混血算中还是越? 这都是自己决定的。怎么决定?很大程度上是看是不是对自己有利，尤其是在racial equity原则下的有利。

我们是华人这一点毫无争议，我从来都不想隐瞒自己的身份。但是如果这个checkbox的目的是为了损害华人利益的话，那我是不会check的

不填是违法行为，收到的信封上这么写的
是你没搞明白人口普查是什么吧？人口普查是社会资源分配的大参考。比如华人如果占10%的人口，资源大致占10%，所以人口普查华人比例越高对华人越有利。你拿个大学申请表过来证明人口普查怎么填有意义吗？

为什么要填这么多？什么作用？我自己都不准备填
人口普查决定的是基本盘，在基本盘最大化的前提下你还可以个体利益最大化。我21楼举的例子你能明白吗？明白的话应该没什么问题了吧
