in agoUtah announces its first case of the novel coronavirus There are now 29 US states with cases of the novel coronavirus, after Utah announced a resident had tested positive. The Utah Department of Health said in a news release that the resident had contracted the coronavirus while onboard the Grand Princess cruise ship, which is anchored off the coast of California under quarantine. The patient -- described as a Davis County resident over the age of 60 -- sought medical attention after returning home and developing symptoms. The patient is now at home in isolation. The presumptive positive result for coronavirus came from testing at the Utah Public Health Laboratory.

Starbucks said the worker is now isolated at home. The store where the patient worked is now closed, and the company said it was subjected to a deep cleaning overnight. The local health department gave the store the go-ahead to return to business, according to the company, but Starbucks has not announced when the location will reopen.

23 min agoFBI employee near San Francisco tests positive for coronavirus From CNN's Shimon Prokupecz An FBI employee out of the San Francisco field division is among those to test positive for the novel coronavirus, an FBI official confirmed Friday. The infected person is based out of a smaller satellite office and not the main offices in San Francisco. Employees of the satellite office were sent home and the FBI is taking all necessary steps to prevent further spread of the virus, the official said. It’s not clear how the employee contracted the virus. The FBI has notified local health officials and is tracking people who had contact with the employee.

n agoCalifornia's Placer County confirms 3 cases of coronavirus tied to Grand Princess cruise ship Placer County in northern California has confirmed three more presumptive positive cases of the novel coronavirus, all of whom were passengers on the Grand Princess cruise ship from San Francisco to Mexico. Placer County Public Health said in a news release that all three had been isolated at home and didn't require hospitalization. Placer County has a total of five cases, including one death. California's total is now 64. In total, 10 confirmed US cases are from former passengers who were on the Grand Princess cruise ship. The vessel is now in quarantine off the coast of California.

14 min agoThere are at least 79 cases of coronavirus in Washington state Washington state health officials are reporting that there are now 79 cases of Coronavirus in four counties in the state, according to the state's Department of Health website. King County, which includes Seattle, is reporting 58 cases. Snohomish County has 19 cases. Grant and Jefferson counties each have one case. Jeff Tomlin, the CEO of EvergreenHealth, tells CNN that 11 patients at his facility have died after testing positive for coronavirus. In addition to these 11, county health officials have identified two individuals who died in other locations: a woman in her 80s who died at home and a man in his 50s who died at the Harborview Medical Center.

The death toll from novel coronavirus in Italy surged today, marking the highest daily increase since the start of the virus outbreak in the country. Angelo Borrelli, head of the Italian Civil Protection Agency, said today that 49 people had died in the last day, bringing the country wide death toll to 197. The total number of confirmed cases in Italy rose by 778 on Friday, bringing the total number in the country to 4,636. Borrelli said the median age of the people who have died from the virus in Italy is 81 years of age.

4 min agoAt least 33 people in New York state test positive for coronavirus From CNN's Sheena Jones At least 33 people have tested positive for coronavirus across the state of New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said moments ago at a press conference. That number is up from 23 that CNN previously reported. Five of the 33 people are currently hospitalized and they are improving, Cuomo said. “This is like a flu on steroids,” he added.
Cuomo said at least 4,000 people are under a "precautionary quarantine." This means they were in the proximity of someone that may have tested positive, returned back from travel from a level 2 or 3 country and aren’t showing symptoms.

The individual traveled to Boston and was exposed during that trip, according to officials. They are calling this case an isolated case. The person is now isolated at Community Hospital North in Marion County.

Maple Medical in White Plains notifies patients that one of its physicians has coronavirus
Maple Medical group in White Plains has notified its patients that one of its physicians has tested positive for the coronavirus. It is currently unclear how the doctor contracted the virus. The situation hits close to home for News 12 reporter Tara Rosenblum, who says this is her doctor's office. She says the medical group is among the most popular in the area and houses about 19 doctors in total.

"I want to assure Pennsylvanians that we are prepared for this. This is not the first rapidly spreading virus we have faced, and it certainly will not be our last," Wolf said in a tweet. Here's what we know about the two people:
One is an adult from Wayne County and is currently in their home in isolation. The person recently traveled to a country where COVID-19 is present.
Another is from an adult from Delaware County and is also in their home in isolation. The person recently traveled to an area of the United States where COVID-19 is present.

现在问题已经不是如何防,而是如何治疗,医院如何增加床位。能不能有疫苗,特效药的问题了。

个人来说,30%-40%的概率,如何自保?是否要把小孩送回国,学校是最大传染源,难道到明年6月都在家里?好像不现实。

个人来说,30%-40%的概率,如何自保?是否要把小孩送回国,学校是最大传染源,难道到明年6月都在家里?好像不现实。

什么逻辑?中国都死那么多人了,还把孩子送回国?再说国内学校并没有开学,你回国了也照样在家呆到六月份。
