Evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant has satisfactorily completed either one year of graduate training in an institution in the United States or Canada approved for internship or graduate training by the board, or other graduate training approved by the board. §Subp. 3. Ineligible applicants. An applicant whose credentials are determined by the board to indicate ineligibility for licensure shall be notified of this determination and the grounds for it and may be granted a hearing on this determination according to part 5615.0300 by filing a statement of issues with the board within 20 days after receipt of this notice from the board. 确实是可以写的,我还见过专门去认证过的。这是和国内学制混乱有联系的。5+3, 4+4, 7年制,一大堆。
赞睿智,认识很多人,都是悄悄考的,直到match的时候,有人说,啊?!你真不知道这些人背后的血泪,我是真心佩服,尤其是大龄还需要照顾家的女性们。男的往往都是甩手考,女的好多还要顾家,工作,还要考试,match,我真心说,佩服。
当家庭医生不用做住院医吗?
美国行医都需要住院医培训。家庭科就不太能升专科了。容易一点。大内科的做完三年住院医就会申请2-3年的专科,就是国内的专家门诊。只看一个科这种。
够没见识的,你怎么知道人家没在国内准备考美国的board?现在国内MD毕业生考完美国的board的多了,过来考个试罢了。一定要人在美国读博士做博后才能出来的,这都是多少年前的老黄历了?

但是特别希望好的中国大夫能来美国,这里的大夫太坑爹了。
很显然吹牛的说的是没有考直接做,真不知道你们杠来杠去把这楼的都当傻子吗?国内来做住院医的太多了,你需要去年BUG统计的数据吗?搞得真不知道是你们傻还是你傻。

re,其实lz说的这人应该还聪明,只要有决心能考双220+,英语好好练练别挑地方还是有机会的。大家把match说的比高考大省考top2一样难似的。

有时候边远地区的大学医院或者公立医院实在是付不起医生薪水,也会招些这样有special license的医生。他们都很优秀,但是操卖白粉的心,拿着卖白菜的钱。因为没有board certification, 根本无法谈条件。一般工资不到正常医生的1/3。
我认识的一个朋友,这样的工作做了10年, 最后还是重新做住院医生,重新开始.
外国人要等美国公民match完了才开始match, USMLE再高也没用,外国人基本都是家庭医生的program,执业之前还要3年住院医,拿贫困线的工资,家庭医生收入真心不高,那么折腾不如转码农。。。
据我所知,至少在我知道的那个医院,拿special license的和board certified的医生工资没有什么区别的。我贴出来的这位医生在他们科威望还挺高的。他们应为是state government employee,工资都能查到的。
不知道你哪里来的数据match的家庭医生多。。我知道的最多match的病理科,家庭医生很少的。这么多年美国医生一直缺,虽然优先美国公民,但分数高的FMG还是很有希望。
至于码农和医生哪个好就不评论了吧。
感觉近几年做病理的没有做内科的多了,病理的坑少。纽约那边的family doctor和pediatrician一般都是加勒比医学院毕业的。

我认识很多这样的国内医生来这里,先做博后拿绿卡,然后同时考版,这个过程要好多年,少数幸运的match上了,有的都考不过,还有一个好不容易考过了自己乏了不想再过苦熬几年的日子,最后海归回国去干老本行了。

当然不可能了,这也太少了,正真的美国神经外科医生工资60--90万一年,你这是20万人民币的Postdoc

国内好医学院出来的,board考很高,科研在国内做的,也不差,match住院医,最后到麻醉科,心内科,derm,普外的都见过,年龄都是80后,个别85后。PCP和path的都是60、70后的那种,英语说成那样,国内医学院也不是top的,还想怎样?神外骨外心外的确实没见过,楼主都说了转神内了,楼里泼冷水的要不要给个年龄范围?
为啥不能是住院医?
。。。。身边residency很少有当年能上top2的。有些还是二流医学院。医学院主要考记忆力,能背书有决心就好了,又不是数理考逻辑。。
因为这20万,对住院医来说,如果是美元,太高了,如果是人民币太低了,只有Postdoc合适
中国人也有,但是fellow 出来一般还是不能行医的,除非大老板同意(很少的情况下)。我见过欧洲的医生直接过来fellow, 再考过执照,最后坐介入麻醉科医生,顶尖医院里面,但那是很多年前的事了,技术确实很高
我认识的中国fellow出来以后待遇低,不得不重新申请住院医。
快40岁过来从头读书考试的,如果英语一般,match可能性很低。可以过来做短期的访问学者,看看是否适应。
国内大医院来美国访学做科研的很多,很多都是自带干粮的。以前认识一个在这边呆了三年,回去前还去旁观别的医生做手术,回去后据说做了科主任。 ---发自Huaren 官方 iOS APP
