三个月的Short term disability应该是有工资的吧?你平时交的保险费这时候管用了。你的工资是保险公司给你付,不用公司给你付。

A lot of companies don't offer maternity leave nor short term disability. You'll have to save all your vacation and sick days ; otherwise you're on FML which is unpaid. That's exactly what my previous employer does - a leading company in the industry and 100% owned by Warren Buffet.

Update:謝謝大家的建議!產前不敢辭職,因為我一直都是事業心很強的人,當時不知道寶寶出生後有多忙,也不確定寶寶需不需要我的這份工資,加上我的健保比LG的好很多。(LG的健保是High Deductible Plan)。產後感恩寶寶健健康康,換到LG的健保也不怕,LG也支持。我可以陪她一段時間,以後可能要轉行了(之前的工作經常出差加班,東奔西走。公司總部離家Commute每天來回三個小時以上。)
FMLA leave 第十周的時候的時候打電話給HR,HR表示非常理解,還讓我選擇要親自回公司遞交公司物品或者寄回去。電話後發了一封郵件給HR。開始了好聚好散的程序。

那可能varies by industry and by company.
我们公司也这样的,剩下的靠自己的假期,所以我也是休的unpaid,打算休完辞职或者转part time
我大概是太穷了以至于无法无视三周的pay直接说自己unpaid 12周 ---发自Huaren 官方 iOS APP

因為那三周的paid剛剛好夠交醫院保險後的費用 本來對std insurance 還有些期待 以為有12周可以拿 結果人家告訴我實際上三周
的确应该说是unpaid吖,因为std是自己交钱买的保险。unpaid意思是公司不付薪水。
