This individual will serve as a core member of the firm’s Analytics Platform development
team responsible for building out a suite of applications related to analyzing economic
data to developing trading signals. This role will partner with various front office teams
and Quantitative Analytics to implement solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced
environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience solving applied math problems (e.g., pricing of financial instruments, statistical analysis of large data sets) utilizing Python (has exposure to commonly utilized libraries such as pandas, scipy, numpy, flask, etc.)
• Overall 7+ years developing software utilizing multiple languages ( OO or otherwise, Java, C++, Scala, Haskell, etc.) and understands the advantages / disadvantages as well as common design patterns across various programming paradigms
• Experience developing client / server and Web applications for large-scale
deployment environments (e.g., B2C or widely utilized internal corporate applications)
• Believes in investing time to develop units test to support continuous integration testing
• Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to developers, quants, and front office personnel.
