例子1:前一阵ebay dyson店买了个V6 absolute, 原价600那个,当时refurbished才270,开开心心买了,还觉得好deal, 没想到过两天变240,再前两天变199了,还有mm在鲜花问了deal,虽然很快dead了,但红果果的70刀啊!当时用chase买的,查了查chase的price protection policy,原来现在在网站上填下信息就行了,等了几周就可以release差价了,超级方便。小农现在match了价格回家用起dyson超开心。(楼下mm有问chase price protection的,我再多解释两句。她家都包给这个网站了:eclaimsline.com, 网上填表就行,如果你看到降价了,就把产品页面保存下来,或者把纸质广告拍个照,按网站上的要求填表然后上传附件,不一定要是同一个商家,比如你在bestbuy买了之后在walmart看到降价了也行,我记得是90天以内。)
例子2:上个月给家里定去阿拉斯加的cruise,大家一般都说cruisecomplete找agent问价是最便宜的,我一般喜欢用priceline,总觉得大网站比没听过的agent安全,而且我要的那个航线agent都不给on board credit, priceline给$150,价格上来说priceline比报价最便宜的agent会贵不到$200块钱,但有10% 返利网站返利。犹豫了半天忽然发现priceline是有110% price protection的,于是先从priceline订了,拿了返利和on board credit, 然后把agent报价的页面填了一个在线表格给priceline,本来还很犹豫这个不是啥正规大网站不知道会不会match, 结果没两天priceline二话没说就退了$200+的110%差价。(还分了两笔,其中100%的部分是邮轮公司退的,10%是priceline退的)
通过这两个例子真是觉得往常这是浪费了多少钱啊!相信这儿不少mm肯定比我会当家早就熟练了,推荐不是很了解的mm也试试看!

当然,用哪张卡买的东西,就用哪家公司的price protection服务,claim的时候会要求你出示这张卡购物的凭据,像带信用卡号后四位的receipt, 银行statement这些,citi, discover这些公司都有的
我以前amazon买东西搞过一次。amazon的价格就是变来变去的,我看到降了100就去搞回来差价了
