Alarm as Thousands of Islamic State Fighters in Syria, Iraq ‘Missing’
Several Arab and Western espionage agencies have set up a joint situation room to trace thousands of Islamic State fighters who have gone missing in Syria, Iraq and Libya, an Arab intelligence official told Breitbart Jerusalem. Some of the several hundred IS fighters who took part in the battle of Sirte, in Libya, survived the defeat, as well as fighters in the lost battles of Mosul in Iraq and Manbej, Alrai, Jarabulus and other communities near the Syrian-Turkish border, he said.
According to estimates, the number of IS fighters reached several tens of thousands in those areas, “but the battles did not yield thousands of dead or captured fighters.”
“That’s why it’s worrisome – these people are gone. They either integrated into noncombatant communities or, more likely, infiltrated into neighboring countries – to Turkey, and from there to Europe and other Middle Eastern countries, and in Libya’s case, all over North Africa.”

The slow pace of the installation of a formal memorial caught the attention of former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, who spoke at the 10th anniversary ceremony in 2011 — and then helped raise cash for the $26 million visitor center.

Donald Trump Reacts To Hillary Health Collapse: ‘I Hope She Gets Well Soon’
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump responds to Hillary Clinton’s health collapse in New York and the campaign’s revelation that she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.
“I hope she gets well soon,” Trump said in an interview on Fox and Friends. “I don’t know what’s going on. I’m like you, I see what I see.”
Trump suggested that Clinton’s coughing fit last week likely reflected symptoms of her pneumonia.
“I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we’ll be seeing her at the debate,” he said.
When asked if he thinks Democrats will replace Clinton as their nominee because of her health, Trump said it would be unlikely.
“No, I don’t think they’ll replace her,” he said. “We have to see what’s wrong. Whatever it is, it is. I’m ready.”
Trump agreed that Clinton’s health was an issue, revealing that he would release the details of a medical physical, promising “very very specific numbers.”
“The report should be finished this week,” he said.
Trumpocrats Demand Hillary Clinton Apologize for ‘Insulting, Elitist Hate-Speech’ She Used in ‘Deplorables’ Attack
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Trumpocrats PAC’s executive director, Christian Rickers, is demanding that Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president, offer an unconditional apology to the millions of Americans she insulted on Friday night—including Democrats like himself—when she called them a “basket of deplorables.”
Bill Clinton’s former CIA chief, James Woolsey, will act as an adviser to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign.
Woolsey, who served as director of the CIA from 1993 to 1995 and describes himself as a life-long Democrat, praised Trump’s commitment to ending defense budget cuts from sequestration.
He said he can’t support Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton because of the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server as secretary of State.
“She demonstrated a complete lack of understanding and an inability to lead the agency she headed in such a way as to maintain its mission and security," Woolsey said in a statement.
“Based on the emails thus far released we know that Secretary Clinton also lacks the ability to lead her senior managers while complying with and maintaining the basic protocols designed to protect our government’s sensitive and classified information. Mr. Trump understands the magnitude of the threats we face and is holding his cards close to the vest.”
Trump and Clinton spent the last week rolling out endorsements from military officials and national security experts as they sought to burnish their commander in chief credentials.
Trump has been bitten in the past by prominent former Republican military officials — most of whom come from the ranks of the two Bush administrations — who have thrown their support behind Clinton.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Monday called for a debate with Democrat Hillary Clinton without a moderator.
He said a debate with a moderator could be "rigged" and would be unfair.
"I think maybe we should have no moderator. Let Hillary and I sit there and just debate, because I think the system is being rigged so it's going to be a very unfair debate," Trump said on CNBC's "Squawk Box."
"I think we should have a debate with no moderator, just Hillary and I sitting there talking," he said.
Trump cited last week's "Commander-in-Chief Forum" on NBC moderated by Matt Lauer, whose performance was panned, including by The New York Times and Clinton's campaign.
"The system is being gamed," Trump declared Monday. "They all said I won and that Matt Lauer was easy on me. Well, he wasn't. I thought he was very professional, I have to be honest. I think he's been treated very unfairly. "
"What they're doing is they're gaming the system so that when I go into the debate, I'm going to be treated very, very unfairly by the moderators," Trump said.
He argued that the perception that Lauer was "soft on Trump" was being promoted so the next Clinton-Trump moderator will try to be "really hard on Trump."
The comments from Trump come as he and Clinton battle the media for favorable coverage.
Clinton surrogates said the Lauer interview highlights a pattern in coverage in which Trump gets softer questions than Clinton, who was grilled by the NBC host over her private email server.
Trump and his supporters argue the media is firmly on Clinton's side, as evidenced most recently in criticism of questions raised by conservatives about Clinton's health.
Trump has feuded with past debate moderators, most notably Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly in the first GOP debate.
Trump on Monday likened what he said he sees happening with the debates to how famed Indiana college basketball coach Bobby Knight, a backer of Trump, used to handle referees.
"Bobby would do numbers on the referee and toward the end of the game they would just sort of subconsciously give him the call," Trump said. "They're doing the same thing now."
The first of three presidential debates is scheduled for Sept. 26 in New York. It will be the first time Trump and Clinton appear on stage together, after their consecutive appearances at the forum last week.

Minnesota Supreme Court's Decision Keeps Trump on Ballot
Updated: 09/12/2016 3:51 PM
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota's Supreme Court has dismissed a legal challenge by Democrats to have Donald Trump removed from the ballot. The state Democratic party filed the lawsuit late Thursday. Democratic officials argued that the state GOP party erred in how it sent in Trump's name for a spot in the ballot because Republicans hadn't properly chosen alternate electors. But the court's order issued Monday ended the slim possibility that Trump and running mate Mike Pence wouldn't appear on the November ballot. Its decision says Democrats waited too long to challenge Republicans' submission. The state Republican party called the lawsuit frivolous and asked the high court to reject it. Early voting is set to begin Sept. 23 in Minnesota.
