Just imagine a poor family trying to find a doctor in BJ. My sister was rejected by several hospital (too late, no doctor, doctors do not know this) for her doctor allergic reaction (should be a typical but dangerous type, in US, just some shot or medicion). And always take hours wait in line. If you do not know doctor or any relationship. you get overcharged. or ignored. SIGN........life for average people in Beijing is not easy.

真不容易啊。。。
我对国内的行也是非常无奈。
去年去上海世博会，他们砸了那么多银子弄出来的全新国际顶尖地铁，居然到处都是台阶，楼梯，我推着童车根本无法行动，很小的一个坡，修成坡道不好么，非要弄2节台阶。好不容易找到电梯，居然是'工作人员专用'。不过上海的好心人不少，很多人帮忙。
但从这一点就可以看出，中国对弱势人群（老人孩子残疾人）待遇实在有待提高。北京的地铁不行我也认了，到底是老的。上海这个全新的，怎么就一点都不考虑一点人性化？纽约的地铁虽然脏乱，但是残疾人畅通无阻。

出行和LZ有同感。年轻人打车完全没问题。带个孩子或者老人或者行李，打半个小时打不上非常正常。坐地铁，无比高的楼梯，扶梯只有上，没有下。小推车，轮椅，只能找地铁里的人给你开那个专门的，找人能等半个钟头，人来了，有可能发现机器坏了。国内的台阶非常多。经常一个商场里还有台阶。真真让人无可奈何！

我上次回去也感受到太多的不容易，在国内带小孩真是步步不容易。难怪我妈说这里到处可以看到小孩。
我妈的一个同事的第一个孙子就是因为脑瘫，被他们遗弃送到孤儿院，那个时候才几个月大，但那个孩子自从去了孤儿院就绝食，最后死了。
