- Just to let everyone know in case you are still hoping to find pre-price increase items:
Bergdorf Goodman's price hasn't increase yet. It will happen between 2/1 - 2/15, but they haven't set an extact date as of when the mark up will be. As far as I know, they still honor the old price today.
- Penney just emailed, and said some reissues are still at old price. Email her to find out more. Penney @ Hirshleifers 516-627-3566 or [email protected]
- I just called NM in my area and the price increased today.
Chanel released a statement for a price increase "after the first of the year" being January. The Spring 2012 collection already reflects the new prices but unfortunately, this price increase will bisect the Cruise 2012 collection which means we will not be able to honor the current prices during this season once Chanel officiates the price increase. They are the "regulations boss" and we (all Chanel boutiques across the world) do as they say. The "Large" classic will be $4,400, the "Jumbo" classic will be $4,900 and the "Maxi" classic I believe will be $5,300 (that is the only one not listed in our lookbook with the new price so far). As for a definitive date, we do not know.
I just received the email from my SA. I am surprised about this " We have been told that there will be a 3-6 month wait to buy any size classic. Hard to believe but true."

We have been told that there will be a 3-6 month wait to buy any size classic. Hard to believe but true, we have ONE MEDIUM classic black caviar with silver hardware $3900 and ONE JUMBO classic white caviar with gold hardware $4300 in stock at the moment.
We have ONE oversized black caviar GST(grand shopper tote/silver hw $3,000) and ONE French Riviera Hobo in black caviar available with silver hardware. These too timeless pieces are very hard to come by since they are offered for ONE season only.

The older chanel bags are a little more difficult. For example, the first holograms in the 80's started with a 0 and by the time the 1's came out it was already late 80's early 90's.
These #'s should ALWAYS match the Authenticity card!
*The number zero on newer hologram stickers should have a slash through it.
*The hologram sticker should be scored in a criss-cross patern.
* Hologram hint..... Beware of sellers who tell you a bag is new or just recently purchased when the hologram tells you otherwise. For example, if the seller recently said they purchased the bag, but the hologram begins with an 8 than there is a good chance the bag may be fake.
* Also beware of holograms that end in 5454 because this number has been mass produced on fakes.

A37590 = style number (prefix) - all you need is this number
Y04373 = part of the style number (suffix), describes the leather and treatment and hardware of the bag.
94305 = black color
NSZ = no size (one size fits all)
3572621322283 = bar code number used for inventory purpose in the Chanel Boutique and Saks. Department stores like NM and Bloomingdales use their own tracking system. Not sure about Nordstrom and BG.
Here's a tag with the 00V continuous line:
The reissues and classic flaps will have the year/season on the tag and box because of variation in color and skin. If the skin, color and style continue for indefinitely until Chanel decides to discontinue it later, it will be marked 00V.

bloomingdale - NY，boston, SCP CA 三家店有CHANEL
10-15% 开卡经常的。。。20%开卡一年两次。邮寄到没有bloomingdale 的地方通常免税。
但货比较紧俏，classic flap 排WAITING LIST 好象不是太难。。
不过听说1月还是1月底开始，就没有开卡优惠了。

The older chanel bags are a little more difficult. For example, the
first holograms in the 80's started with a 0 and by the time the 1's
came out it was already late 80's early 90's.
These #'s should ALWAYS match the Authenticity card!
*The number zero on newer hologram stickers should have a slash through it.
*The hologram sticker should be scored in a criss-cross patern.
* Hologram hint..... Beware of sellers who tell you a bag is new or just
recently purchased when the hologram tells you otherwise. For example,
if the seller recently said they purchased the bag, but the hologram
begins with an 8 than there is a good chance the bag may be fake.
* Also beware of holograms that end in 5454 because this number has been mass produced on fakes.

A cruise collection or resort collection, sometimes also referred to as holiday or travel collection (collection croisière, in French), is an inter-season or pre-season line of ready-to-wear clothing produced by a fashion house or fashion brand in addition to the recurrent twice-yearly seasonal collections - spring/summer and autumn (or fall)/winter - heralded at the fashion shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan.
Originally meant for wealthy customers or "more seasoned jet-setters"[1] going on cruises (e.g. North Americans) or vacationing in the warm Mediterranean area (e.g. Europeans) during the winter months, cruise collections offer light spring or summer clothing when the weather at the points of sale actually calls for winter apparel.[2] These days, they are targeted at customers who have "finished buying their fall wardrobes and are looking ahead to vacations".[3] These "warm-weather designs [...] arrive in the shops in the US in November"[4], after the autumn/winter collections and before the spring/summer collections, or generally between November/December and February in the Northern hemisphere.
High fashion houses like Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and Ralph Lauren offer cruise/resort collections. Although usually intended for women, lately "menswear is coming aboard with Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Zegna, Etro, Gucci and Burberry often sneaking a few resort looks into the fall fashion shows" or producing signature cruise collections.[2] Yves Saint-Laurent presented its first men's cruise collection in 2006 which has since then been offered every year.[5]

A37590 = style number (prefix) - all you need is this number
Y04373 = part of the style number (suffix), describes the leather and treatment and hardware of the bag.
94305 = black color
NSZ = no size (one size fits all)
3572621322283 = bar code number used for inventory purpose in the Chanel Boutique and Saks. Department stores like NM and Bloomingdales use their own tracking system. Not sure about Nordstrom and BG.
Here's a tag with the 00V continuous line:
The reissues and classic flaps will have the year/season on the tag and
box because of variation in color and skin. If the skin, color and
style continue for indefinitely until Chanel decides to discontinue it
later, it will be marked 00V.
