苏女士说，她把CDC的规定看作是政治性，而不是科学的。“最终都是大国间的对抗，”她补充道。

香港大学全球卫生政策专家葛瑞苹(Karen Grépin)说，虽然CDC的新规定可能会阻止飞机上发生超级传播的情况，但不能阻止新变异株的传播，就像此前的国际旅行禁令对阻止奥密克戎变异株的传播几乎没有作用一样。
