飞机可以说是最安全的交通工具，不过一旦发生意外或人为疏失，后果往往不堪设想。曾多次获选为“全球最佳航空”的卡达航空，上个月一架班机在飞行途中，疑似因为机师操作失误，导致飞机在短短24秒内下降了1000英呎（约304米）。好在机师及时发现错误并做出修正，最终让全机顺利抵达目的地，没有酿成大祸。
根据航空事故分析网站《The Aviation Herald》，这架卡达航空波音787-8班机上月10日从杜哈国际机场起飞，前往丹麦哥本哈根。飞行途中，疑似因为机师太晚将飞行指示输入系统，导致飞机短暂失去导向并开始下降，不到半分钟内，就从1800英呎降落到距离海平面只有800英呎。
幸运的是，机长及时接手驾驶，阻止了飞机继续下降。事后该架班机也继续航程，并在6小时后安全飞抵目的地。而航空公司在接获通报后，也立即对这起事故展开调查。
