As Xi Jinping landed in San Francisco, Uyghurs stood with Tibetans, Hong Kongers, Taiwanese, and Chinese human rights defenders to show him he’s not welcome.
中国国家主席习近平将与美国总统拜登于旧金山亚太经济合作会议（APEC）期间举行场边会谈。许多抗议人士今天一大早便走上旧金山街头，堵住了APEC会场若干入口。
路透社报导，旧金山当地时间早上8时左右，约有150人聚集在该市会议中心安全区外十字路口。这群人意图阻止与会者通过十字路口，并且形成了一条人链，导致一些通勤者及与会代表必须改道。
据报导，当地警方穿上防护头盔排成一线，现场有示威者拿著麦克风演说，批评APEC及拜登政府，呼吁针对气候变迁採取行动，并且声援巴勒斯坦人。
自由西藏学生组织（SFT）执行主任杜玛（Pema Doma）表示，示威主办单位预计，全美各地会有数百人前来，抗议习近平的政策。
杜玛指出：“毫无疑问，这将是身为中国独裁者的习近平，出席在美国举行的双边会谈期间，会面临的最大规模反习示威活动。”
法轮功示威者则排在会议中心区域车队入口处。附近有数十名亲中及反中人士对峙，一边是中国国旗，另一边是写著中国共产党是“病毒”的横幅，中间被警戒线隔开。
