近期，中国驻英国使馆接到多名中国公民求助，反映遭遇电信诈骗。
不法分子假冒中国驻外使领馆、快递公司等名义，谎称当事人包裹需要领取，要求当事人提供个人信息以核实身份，进而以包裹内物品表明当事人涉案为由，主动“协助”受害人转接国内“警局”及“检察院”电话（实为虚拟假冒电话），诱骗当事人提供本人银行账号、取款密码或者将资金转入所谓“安全账户”进行“资金清查”。
由于近期不少中国公民委托国内亲友向英国邮寄口罩等防疫用品，有关犯罪手法具有一定迷惑性。
中国驻英国使馆再次提醒在英中国公民提高警惕，不要轻信以任何名义索取姓名、住址、家庭情况、银行账户等个人信息以及转账、汇款的要求，避免造成财产损失。
如不慎上当受骗，应及时向英警方和国内公安机关报案，同时尽快联系本人账户开户行，要求采取止付、冻结等相应措施。
