Young adults can not legally drink at age 18; yet they can get guns legally to kill others. Stupid Judge! this is not the 1700s; you don’t need a militia anymore to fight the colonists.
The problem is in the constitution....it also needs to be updated as time goes by...The problem is that there is no mechanism to change the constitution.

There is mechanism to change the constitution, that’s why there are fourteen amendments.
美国一名联邦地方法院法官宣告，禁止有执照经销商向未满21岁者贩售手枪的联邦法律均属违宪，还说任何18岁以上的人都有这种权利。
法新社报导，维吉尼亚州东区的联邦地方法官潘恩（Robert Payne）受理一桩由4名男子提出的诉讼，4人都是年满18岁、未满21岁希望能买手枪者。
现行联邦法律禁止有执照的枪械经销商向未满21岁者出售手枪，但父母可为孩子购买手枪，孩子也可自行透过枪械展览会或向私人购买。
而且虽然美国民众未满21岁不能从联邦许可的经销商处购买手枪，却可以购买步枪或霰弹枪。
潘恩10日判决意见援引最高法院近期一项扩大枪支拥有权的决定以及美国宪法第二修正案，后者阐明“人民持有和携带武器的权利不容侵犯。”
预防枪支暴力组织Everytown Law谴责法官潘恩的心证。
Everytown Law负责议题与诉求的资深主管卡特（Janet Carter）发表声明说：“枪支不仅是美国儿童和青少年的主要致死原因，研究也显示18至20岁的年轻人持枪杀人的比率是21岁以上成年人的3倍。”
卡特说：“法院这项判决无疑会将生命置于风险之中，这点必须改变。”
