其后他提到中国，指北京没有采取足够强有力的行动来阻止非法毒品芬太尼从墨西哥越境流入美国，「在这个问题获得改善之前，我们将对中国进入美国的所有许多产品额外徵收 10% 的关税。」
曾扬言终止中国最惠国贸易地位 对华商品徵逾60%关税
特朗普先前曾表示，会终止中国的最惠国贸易地位，并对中国进口商品徵收超过60%的关税，远高于他第一任期内徵收的关税。
美元兑比索上涨逾2%
受特朗普言论影响，美元兑墨西哥比索应声上涨逾2%，美元兑加币亦升了1%。
中国驻华盛顿大使馆、加拿大总理办公室、墨西哥外交部均未就消息作回应。
路透社访问IG MARKETS 市场分析师Tony SYCAMORE指，由于特朗普曾表示会对中国商品徵收高达 60% 的关税，相对来说，现在打算加徵10% 关税，幅度算是温和，「实际上比预期中最坏的情况要轻微」。
