有个美籍华人章家敦（Gordon Chang），2001年出了《中国即将崩溃》一书，暴得大名，以后年年预测崩溃。今年中国疫情爆发，终于让他逮着了，天天在电视上秀高明。进入3月，在家里躲病毒，无脸出来了。
我们这些新移民，对中国或有不满，但真真切切是中国经济增长、社会稳定的受益者，两相比较，能看出中美各有好坏。而一些早年出来的，喜欢把美国夸成一枝花，把中国说成豆腐渣，来掩盖他们政治上的郁闷，没赶上经济红利的失落。 还有去年出国的中央民族大学赵士林教授，拿着财政发的每月1万5千元退休金，卖了其中一套房子变现的400多万美元，天天在推特骂中国、骂中国人。疫情爆发，我亲历、比较了中美两国的情况，为中国说几句公道话，指出美国的问题，引来他不断辱骂，以证明他跑路的及时、转移财富的高明。
“不要在国外批评你的国家，但不要停止在国内批评”，这不是我说的，这是丘吉尔说的，Do not criticize your country when out of the country. Never cease to do so when at home。
政治都是国内的、本地的，要么在国内同甘共苦，要么出国遥相祝愿，何必躲在远处证明勇敢，站在高处显示优越？

自疫情发生以来，维州自由党议员Bernie Finn多次使用“武汉病毒”和“中共病毒”的措辞，在其脸书称呼新冠病毒疫情，批评中共政府，引来众多关注和争论。近日，他又连发三贴，令争议继续升温。
4月6日，Bernie Finn发布一张“病毒主题”的五星红旗图，并附上评论称，“这是共产党中国的新国旗”。在该图片中，原本的五颗金色五角星被新冠病毒图片取代。
在4月7日，他一早便发布贴文，祝英国首相身体健康。“为鲍里斯约翰逊的完全康复祈祷，他因为武汉病毒的原因正在接受重症监护。”他在贴文中写道。
当晚，他又发帖称，“我们的政策正面临危机，武汉病毒并非维州面对的唯一主要问题”。
截至记者发稿，这条“病毒红旗”博文下涌入近3000条评论，其中多数对其言论表示赞同和支持。
今日澳洲App记者注意到，该图片并非Bernie Finn原创，而是曾在丹麦《日德兰邮报》上刊载过的新闻插图，在中国疫情初期该图片曾引起广泛争议，中国外交部和驻丹麦使馆曾要求丹麦方就此道歉，但被拒绝。
今日澳洲App记者自3月26日起就此事开始联系维州自由党党部，期间亦要求维州自由党党魁、维州自由党上议院立法委员会领袖相关人士对Bernie Finn的网络措辞置评，截止到目前无一回应。
与此同时，工党多元文化事务发言人Andrew Giles议员向今日澳洲App独家回应，称Bernie Finn议员的言论“不可接受”。
“莫里森和自由党必须谴责它们（指Bernie Finn的言论，记者注）。澳洲华人是澳大利亚的一份子，但目前他们太多人在遭受攻击和骚扰。面对现在的危机，我们应当团结，而不是分裂。”Andrew Giles议员称，“我们会一同度过COVID-19疫情危机，Bernie Finn议员和自由党应当现在就开始这么做。”
记者注意到，Andrew Giles议员在称呼病毒时，使用的是世卫组织建议的官方名称“COVID-19”。
中国驻墨尔本总领馆微信公众号日前亦发布文章，对Bernie Finn议员的言论予以谴责。
“澳大利亚维多利亚州议会自由党上议员伯尼·菲恩（Bernie Finn）就新冠肺炎疫情对中国进行政治攻击，并公然侮辱中国国旗，这是对中国人民的极大侮辱，令人十分震惊。”
该文章称，“菲有关言论超越了道德和文明社会的底线，驻墨尔本总领馆对此表示坚决反对和强烈谴责。”
“疫情是一面镜子，映照出人心善恶、品行高低。病毒不讲意识形态，也不分国家种族。”该文章称，“面对疫情，各国命运与共，污蔑攻击、甩锅推责都无济于事，惟有同舟共济、团结合作，让合作的阳光驱散疫情的阴霾，才得取得抗击疫情的最终胜利。”
Bernie Finn在维州自由党影子内阁排名第21，该内阁共有24名成员。
Bernie Finn几乎每天都在更新其脸书账号，在其开始指责中国并使用“武汉病毒”一词之前，其贴文平均评论量和分享量多为个位数。
3月23日，Bernie Finn发帖抨击中国政府，称“世界决不能原谅中共政权，它给我们所有人带来了巨大的创伤。它撒谎，它遮掩，它让武汉病毒逃出了国境。我们决不能忘记这一点。”
该贴文引来3000多条评论，其中大批澳洲网民予以追捧，而评论里的指责对象，部分被放大至“中国”和“中国人”。
Bernie Finn的贴文下众多用户攻击中国
有用户称：“请停止叫它武汉病毒，它是中国人病毒/中国病毒”。也有用户称：“中国一直在撒谎”。
在引发争议后，Bernie Finn曾在3月28日更新脸书状态，称自己无意攻击中国人，只是在批评“坏的中国政府”，且“任何人如果不这么说，都是骗子”。
对此，有华人网友点评道：“无非是大家艰难的时候都想找个人背锅，这样自己心里就好受了。一旦Blame了别人国家，就感觉自己完全没做错什么，做什么都是正义的有道理的，无非是懦夫的逻辑罢了。”
也有华人网友称，不如来点实际的，多戴口罩少说话，在其他国家限制医疗物资出口的当下，多从中国进口点防护物资保护民众，“保住了民众的命，你才是英雄”。
