镜头这位义正言辞，口口声声“守法公民”的司马南，这一波可谓是塌房了。
说来也巧，昨天我直播讲了一篇金融时报文章——《当爱国主义成为哪吒脚下的风火轮》，里面提到李宁公司的一个案例，挺有意思。
当时耐克阿迪宣布不用新疆棉遭到抵制，李宁乘势而入，大打爱国主义牌，取而代之成为了中国运动市场一哥，但后来因为设计像日本军服而遭批评，股价也跌成狗。

而“爱国主义”就是那只手。爱国主义这碗饭不是那么容易吃的，吃上了、享受到红利了，也势必会付出相应的代价，稍有不慎就会遭受反噬。司马南这一次也成了教科书般的例子。
还是聊聊英语吧，不然又有人说我“不务正业”了，就跟大家聊聊“人设崩塌”用英语如何表达吧。
首先，“人设”来自日本动漫，原指“人物设定”（character set），但网上咱们常说的“人设”指的是公众人物在大众面前设定的形象， 如果没有维持好自己的“人物设定”，出了什么事情而声名俱毁，颠覆了之前留给大家的原本积极的印象，就叫做“人设崩塌”。
“人设崩塌”不能直译为 character set collapse，比较“Chinglish”，我们可以用“同义替换”的方法，把意思表达得更符合英文的习惯：
第一种：“与…不一致”
这个句型可以用以下三个表达：1. be inconsistent with；2. be not in line with；3. fail to correspond to
比如：他这次拒绝捐款让他“慈善家”的人设崩塌。
我们可以把这句话转化为：他这次拒绝捐款与他“慈善家”的形象不一致。再写成英语：His refusal to donate is inconsistent with his benevolent public image.
第二种：“颠覆自己一贯的形象”
关键词“颠覆”的英语是“defy、go against、run counter to”；一贯的形象可以说“one’s longstanding image”。
比如：“这个丑闻让他“好男人”的人设崩塌。”
可以先把上述句子转化为：这个丑闻颠覆了他长期“好男人”的形象。再切换成英语：The scandal goes against his longstanding “good man” public image.
